The Church Militant has posted a new video in which he thanks God for giving his mother stomach cancer and dying so that he would be brought back to the Catholic Church. Michael Voris, president and founder of St. Michael’s Media and producer of the website Church Militant took to YouTube to reveal details of the sinful life he lived prior to his “reversion” to Catholicism.

Why would anyone worship a god who thinks that way?

"Your sex life offends me, so rather than fire a warning shot across YOUR bow (An STD, say, something directly resulting from promiscuity?) I'mma kill your mom."

"OH, thank you, sir, may I have another? I double parked last week, can you kill my third grade teacher?"

This is no more startling than the President claiming, at the South Carolina church shooting eulogies, that God used the killer so that the spirit of love and forgiveness in the survivors could be witnessed to the world.

Reminds me of the other day.

I was watching some news program on TV where a grief stricken woman talks about having recently lost her son in some horrible accident. Then she says, "he died instantly", followed by "Thank you, God" while she looks skyward. Sad story, of course, but I couldn't stop thinking about God planning this accident:

"Hmmm...I think I'll kill Freddy over on Elm Street today. But, I'll make sure its instantaneous so his loved ones will think I'm a pretty cool dude and I have a heart."
