Who is denying Gaza water?

As long as Israel suppresses the economy of GAZA and strangles it these kinds of issues will arise.

Let these people build their economy and they will not have to ask permission from anybody to build needed infrastructure.

Israel maintains GAZA as the worlds largest jail.

Of course in an unsupervised jail the worst elements can take control.

Israel WANTS these bad elements to maintain control.

So it can use them as an excuse to continue their endless oppression.

The problem of water availability in Gaza goes way beyond the narrow Zionist tale of the OP. It is due to a combination of conditions, including Israeli control of the main water aquifer into Gaza.

I doubt it.

They don't get indiscriminately bombed every now and then.
Well, to me, it looks like it would be their loss.

Why does it have to be a competition exactly? Can't there be prisoners with varying degrees of treatment? Also can people not be metaphorical prisoners as opposed to prisoners in the strictly literal sense?

Denied access to free trade and even a port?
The siege was imposed when terrorist organization Hamas took power in Gaza.
They can't even fish without harassment from the oppressor.
They can fish a certain number of miles from shore. Going further out risks these fishing boats being used to smuggle even more weapons into the Strip.
Also, Israel controlling waters off Gaza is also important because Hamas is using SCUBA divers to attack Israel.
Hamas naval commando drowns in training accident off Gaza coast

Not even minimum security prisons have beach resorts like this one in Gaza City.

Or dining options like Oregano, the Italian restaurant in Gaza City.

Here are some of the downtrodden, oppressed "inmates" posing for a photo.

And not even Norwegian prisons have a commissary with the same selection of chocolates as the Al-Gayyar store.

Shopping malls are also not something typically found in prisons.

Anti-Israel propagandists also claim that Israel is not letting in enough foodstuffs into Gaza, but West Bank and Gaza actually have one of the highest obesity rates in the world, especially Palestinian women.

So there are more fat women in so-called "Palestine" than in the United States. Maybe that's why they make them cover up. :tonguea:

Because metaphorical sense can be twisted into whatever shape you want. I mean, aren't we all in prisoners in a metaphorical sense?

No.

The repeated deliberate killing of civilians by Israel is a way to help Hamas gain more power.

That is what Israel wants.

It wants thugs in power.

So it can justify it's continual theft and oppression.

If Israel had not been stealing land on a non-stop basis for decades there might be a sliver of believably to their cries of security.

A lot of Arabic foods tend to be fattening where shortages usually affect vegetables and higher quality items. It is surprising that the US and Saudi aren't even higher up the scale however.

Shopping Malls are popular in poor countries (e.g. Philippines, Venezuela, and recently India which is the most undeveloped). This is a place where people from run down areas can go and often walk around and perhaps purchase something small.

Gaza has a huge trade deficit as it imports far more than it exports

I will assume the following is correct where Israel is its greatest trading partner. I'm not sure if these are re exported from other countries or direct trade.

Actually Gaza grows a lot of fruits and vegetables, enough for export. They are importing things like chocolates sold at the Al-Jarrar store.
I think the practice to celebrate things like terrorist attacks by handing out sweets has a lot to do with it.

"This is a sweet from Osama bin Laden" ...

I think it also has to do with the fact that alcohol is forbidden in Islam, so they compensate with sugar.

These malls could not pay their bills if there weren't enough people actually buying things in them.

Well, outside of agriculture, Gaza is mostly producing rockets for terrorist groups. But shooting those at Israel does not count as exporting them.

What Gaza really looks like:
This is not what Gaza "really" looks like, those are the select neighborhoods that saw most of the fighting took place. Hamas strongholds, from where terrorist attacks against Israel were conducted.
As to more of what Gaza actually really looks like, what about the Hitler 2 clothes store, which sells terrorist couture.

Sure, you see one guy with a donkey cart , but you see many more late model cars. Including a Mercedes behind that guy in the red sport coat.
And the Nazi sympathizers interviewed have nice clothes and styled hair. Poor and downtrodden Palestinians indeed.

Btw, I think Hamas is gearing up for another attack on Israel soon.

Wrong.

Those are ordinary civilian neighborhoods in many parts of Gaza bombed to shreds indiscriminately to create terror and to keep Hamas in power.

Israel WANTS thugs in power.

It is doing everything it can to create the agony and chaos that allows them to maintain power. That is how Israel justifies it's continual theft and flaunting of UN Resolutions.

Israel is one of the most repulsive and oppressive nations on the planet.

And the whole world sees this except a few right wing morons in the US.

It does not have to be, but I think we learn and grow much better in competition.

Of course. Precisely why I feel that Gaza is nowhere near being the largest jail.
