Anybody else Looking Forward to the Game if Thrones Season 7 Premiere?

I figure that the gold doesn't need to be physically transported to Bravos. It's enough to hand it over to Iron Bank representatives in King's Landing and they can ship it from there, or keep it in vaults, or loan it back to Cersei.

Presumably, the city is now under siege. I am willing to be that 3 dragons can effectively blockade the port as well. We'll see how it plays out, but my suspicion is that this will be resolved by the end of the season, which is approaching rapidly since this season will only be 7 episodes total (although, the last few ones will have extended running times):

Episode 1 – Dragonstone: 59 minutes
Episode 2 – Stormborn: 59 minutes
Episode 3 – The Queen’s Justice: 63 minutes
Episode 4 – The Spoils of War: 50 minutes
Episode 5: 59 minutes
Episode 6: 71 minutes
Episode 7: 81 minutes

And apparently, the episodes have gotten very expensive, presumably because of the large amount of epic CGI -battles, so probably a lot of this war is going to be fleshed out. The 8th and final season will probably be about the Others.

I find myself for the first time in a long time a little anticipatory in feeling, especially regarding a TV show given how subjective and changeable the material is. I want to see how Cersei takes the news of the last few events and how she manages the gold, the city, the bankers potentially finding out about the support for Dany/DanyandJon and potentially switching sides.

But, in the latest episode, somehow they have satisfied the Iron Bank. The previous episode, with the toasted lions, was the best this season so far. However, as with a couple of previous episodes, it also suffered from magic time--suddenly the Dothrakai warriors (and a dragon, which is more mobile than land troops but probably not jet plane fast) were somewhere distant from the Dragon throne, fighting Lannisters and Tarleys. As well, no major or even somewhat significant characters died in the dragon attack.

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly brands Bran as about as exciting as the cereal he's named after.

Eh, this wasn't really that bad of an example of this. Dragonstone is geographically very close to King's Landing. Certainly a dragon could fly there and back in a day, and probably a Dothraki horde, which is a very mobile fore, could be there in the same time. The worst examples of this in my mind was the attack on Castlery Rock, which would have required sailing southwardly past Dorne.

This weeks top of the top was ignoring the fact that somehow Jamie fell into a massively deep pond, and was rescued by the guy who saved him at the last second from being torched, and popping up at the far end of said pond, much further away from a dragon.

Jon Snow continues moving across the continent as if he was riding a dragon.

Meanwhile:

A fucking armistice?! Let's capture a dead guy and convince Cersei that this dead guy is part of a massive army, so let's just put our 6 Season run up to war on pause, 'K?

Hasn't the Pike Navy taken over the world by now?

Oh yeah, they lost the Tyrell land thing... that was done for two reasons, money and food. Lost the food!

And Sam decides the best way of winning the war against the undead is going far away from the very books that hold the answers they need... and also he is now AWOL from the Nights Guard.

The Starks in Winterfell and Lannisters in King's Landing both seem to be concerned about stacking up food.

I just wonder, what are the Dothraki eating? What do they feed their horses? There is a huge army, that apparently was just sitting at a rocky Island, until one day they decide to march past King's Landing to intercept tail end of Jamie's army. Didn't anyone notice them? Did they pillage the villages on their way for food and supplies? Did they do regular raids on the mainland before that just to keep themselves fed? And come to think of it, the distance they had to ride was almost the same as it would take for the Unsullied to get back from Casterly Rock. Sure the unsullied are on foot but still, what's taking them so long?

There are some serious logistical issues with this war that are not adequately explained.
