[conservolibertarian]Wolfenstein II came out and oh no! It's a video game that involves killing Nazis! This is white genocide! WHITE GENOCIDE!!!!!!!!!! The liberal social justice warriors are persecuting white people yet again! You will not replace us!!!!!!!!!!!! [/conservolibertarian]

*sigh*

Anyone remember the 1950s when making a movie about killing Nazis didn't cause any complaints from conservatives? Boy, if only we were like that again.

And yes, I realize that I am "attacking" you with "political correctness." I can't help it. It's what we "social justice warriors" do.

Gotta distract the poor from socioeconomic slavery if you want them to keep living so they can be your socioeconomic slaves....

That's pretty much the origin of American racism.

European racism is about justifying colonialism (and we inherited some of that), but American racism is about getting poor white people to put up with rich white people stepping on their necks. Most people won't even look up and see the boot if you give them someone to look down on, and after the boot comes down, they will just blame whomever they were looking down on. The whole thing is sickening.

The alt-right is upset because the game casts them as literal Nazis...

"I walk like a duck and quack like a duck, but don't you dare call me a duck."

...but worse, it casts their enemies as heroes.

No, I'm too young for that, but I do remember the 80s when the Indiana Jones movies had Nazis being killed, and then there's this:
I thought the trailer had more of a Red Dawn vibe...
OK, so those were evil commies instead of Nazis, but really, what's the difference with regards to the current hubbub?

After WW2, Hollywood made a really large number of movies about WW2. That was before my time, but I'm sure I would have found that annoying.

The current batch of alt-right Nazis have not triumphed over our military.

How can you make a Wolfenstein game without killing Nazis?
It is less that. It is the portrayal of Americans as Nazis that bothers them. I think it is a bit like the Amazon series The Man in High Castle, but a little harsher on particular Americans that bought into the system.

Right. This is exactly like the previous Wolfenstein game, which was set in and alternate 1960's Europe after Germany won WWII. This is set in pretty much the same time frame, but in America instead. So the SJW neo-nazi snowflakes were perfectly fine with killing alternative history 1960 Nazis, just so long as that was being done in Europe, but they just cant stand the same story and action happening in the USA.

I am sure there is something to do with timing as well. The last game came out in 2009, before the rise of the alt-right, and the emboldening of Nazi fucks here in the USA. Now that our country is being run by actual American Nazi Fucks, it is poor form to pretend to kill virtual American Nazi Fucks in a video game.

That doesn't make their crying sound more reasonable.
