Detroit Rep. Bettie Cook Scott on Asian opponent: 'Don't vote for the ching-chong!'

More than a dozen community groups have called on Rep. Bettie Cook Scott (D-Detroit) to apologize for a series of racial slurs sources say she used to describe her primary election opponent, Rep. Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit).

Scott is alleged to have referred to Chang as "ching-chang" and "the ching-chong" to multiple voters outside polling precincts during last Tuesday's election. She's also said to have called one of Chang's campaign volunteers an “immigrant,” saying “you don’t belong here” and “I want you out of my country.”

Chang and Scott were running in the Democratic primary for state Sen. District 1. Chang won the election with 49 percent of the vote; Scott came in third with 11 percent of the vote.

When you promote identity politics you'll get this. Funny as shit. The Democrat party may eventually break up over it. (Oh, and these are diversity Democrats but I have faith that the local brain trust will find a way to blame Republicans/wypipo.)

So complaining about racism causes people to be racist, and if we would just stop complaining about racism, we could be Nazis like you?

Well gosh! We'd better stop complaining about racism, then! Who knows how much damage we are doing to society by not becoming Nazis! Thank you for warning us of this terrible fate so that we can avoid it!

It's really too bad that I'm only half white. I can never be as smart as you because I don't have your superior white genes.

My faith confirmed.

Huh? What are you talking about? Someone using racist language was asked to apologize? How is this surprising or interesting or funny in any way?

BTW, the Democratic Party already broke up over racism when all the racist Dixiecrats jumped ship and were embraced as bosom buddies by the Republicans.

"Identity politics" is the latest racist code phrase from the right.

What one person says about her opponent is politics, simple politics.

A black person running is politics, simple politics.

To the right when white men run for office that is politics.

But when black people run it is "identity politics".

What a bunch of racist coded shit!!!

And sure, if a politician refers to their opponent with racist epithets they should hopefully lose.

No. The problem is that on one hand, supposed racism by whites gets trumpeted a lot even when the allegations are bogus. On the other hand, racism by non-whites, including very blatant and overt racism, gets mostly ignored.

, we could be Nazis like you?
Despite your (by now worrying) obsessions, nobody here is a Nazi.

It's really too bad that I'm only half white. I can never be as smart as you because I don't have your superior white genes.
More like: you hate half your genes because that's what far-left ideology indoctrinated you to.
