Mass shooting in New Zealand - twitter account of shooter (99.9999% him) still open

Here is a photo of the magazine and weapon. It includes some historical inscriptions.

Edward Codrington was a British admiral who participated in the Greek war of independence from Ottoman Turks in the 1820s. Marco Antonio Bragadin unsuccessfully defended Cyprus from Ottoman Turk invasion in 1571. Dmitry Senyavin tried to liberate Constantinople from the Ottoman Turks in 1807. Șerban Cantacuzino was a prince of Wallachia, modern day Romania, warned the Austrians of the Ottoman attack.

As long as mainstream politicians are dismissive of the dangers of Islamization, and continue to support mass migration of islamists, I fear incidents like these will increase in frequency.

Why are Muslims an issue when the shooter was targeting Muslims?

As far as I can tell (and information is pretty sparse from what I can see on the internet) the shooter was not an "Islamist." He is described as follows:

The video and Twitter posts showed weapons covered in the names of past military generals and men who have recently carried out mass shootings.

In his manifesto, he identified himself as a 28-year-old man born in Australia. He listed his white nationalist heroes, described what he said motivated him to attack, and said he purposely used guns to stir discord in the United States around the Second Amendment.

He seems like a crazy person.

Edited to add: it seems as though he is a white dude: Man who identified himself as Brenton Tarrant, 28, of Australia filmed self just before live streaming mass shooting at mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand. He live stream all his massacre.

There is an image of a white guy with closely cropped dark blonde hair/blue eyes/light skin associated with this description on twitter. No idea of this is accurate but it seems much more accurate than describing him as an Islamist as Derec has. Unless I am misunderstanding Derec and he's simply blaming the victims for existing and imagines that this shooter wouldn't have found some other excuse to shoot up some people who don't look like him elsewhere.

Amongst others present at Friday prayers at the targeted mosque were the Bangladeshi cricket team, who are currently touring NZ.

Perhaps we need to prohibit international sports, as these are clearly a symptom of "islamisation". :rolleyes:

It strikes me that the unprovoked shooting of a bunch of people is probably sufficient evidence that he's a crazy person.

The details are something I am more than happy to leave between him and the psychiatrists at whatever secure facility he ends up calling home.

He had an issue with the UN Migration Compact, which enables more mass migration into the West. New Zealand voted for it, while US voted against and Australia abstained.
He also wrote down names of many Europeans who fought against the Ottoman Turkish (an Islamic empire after all) invasion of Europe. These days, European rulers like Angela Merkel open the floodgates to millions of Islamic mass migrants.

I did not describe him as an Islamist. I said that western politicians not taking the danger of Islamism seriously will lead to more backlash/reprisal attacks like this one. I thought I was clear enough.
Even if he was an Islamist, though, Islam is not a race, so there is no contradiction between him being an Islamist and also white and blonde/blue eyed.

Again, 'The islamisation of the west' is not a thing.

Being terrified of this fiction is not an excuse for, justification of, or even a rational explanation of, crazy people with guns shooting up a visiting cricket team, or the congregation of a local mosque.

At best it's a diagnosis of a psychological disturbance caused by belief in things that are pure fiction - in other words, a form of religion - one that, like so many other religions, considers believers in rival nonsense to be fair game for violent attacks.

This is by 2050, which is only about 30 years away! And note that Muslims tend to move to major metropolitan areas. By the time the whole country reaches 10%, cities like Berlin (where already most elementary schools are majority Muslim!), Paris, London and Stockholm will be solidly Islamic.
Note also that this is "medium migration scenario". You and those like you prefer open Islamic migration, which would lead to even faster Islamization.

I do not think at all that it is all right to shoot up anybody, but powers that be ignoring the problem of Islamization will just lead to more people snapping like that.

Some of the countries with most mass migrants (like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq) also have the most adherents to the Sharia law. And note that Muslims have incredibly huge birth rates. Which is why even under zero Islamic migration their percentage will only rise.

You were rambling about Islamiation of the West being a fiction. I did not know New Zealand is the totality of the West. What Angela Merkel did is merely the most egregious example of politicians in the West not taking mass migration and Islamization seriously.
 
The thing is that a smallish, (bigger than I would like, but not huge) unhinged radical portion of the intersectional "left" (IL) is ranting and raving about white people.

At the same time there a couple other things happening. One is that non-shill, grassroots anti-SJWs are funneling and concentrating the crazy IL rhetoric (in conferences, twitter, protests) making it look as if a huge amount of non-whites and IL whites people think whites are scum of the earth. That is not true, most people are too busy trying to get by to be focused on that. Another is that astroturf bastards like Turning Point USA and Dave Rubin are doing the same thing of cherry picking radical IL rants and actions and disseminating them far and wide. TPUSA is doing it do divide and conquer and help keep rich Koch Brother type people rich.

So, I think it is not so much that the demographic numbers of whites are moving sluggishly downward but the perceived and often real gloating about it (which itself has been assiduously catalogued into literally hundreds of archived and still posted tweets, conference videos and and so on) that sets something off in some people's minds. There is a lot of "fuck white people" around. It is very atavistic on all sides.
