The End of Democracy In The USA
I suspect both the democrats and the media of cheating to elect Joe Biden. Trump should keep fighting.
Do you understand how the USA chooses a president? According to the Constitution, and 200+ years of institutional history? Why Trump is president, even though he obviously lost the 2016 popular vote?
He lost the popular vote by almost 3,000,000 in 2016. In 2020, it was over 4,000,000 votes. But that doesn't really matter because the American people don't elect Presidents. The Electoral College appoints them. It's been that way since George Washington's day, and the reason Trump is in office now is because Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the EC.
Long story short, the Democrats have supported basic American institutions like the EC. Trump and his supporters do not.
Now, if you think that the American voter should choose the president, I agree. Feel free to support
I do. Then it would matter who the American people vote for, and I think that's important.
But in this election, 2020, it doesn't. No amount of voter fraud matters. Whoever the state legislatures decide to send to the Electoral College is what matters. It's the same process that got Trump in the White House in the first place. State legislatures basing their decisions on state law, not the popular vote.
And that's the Constitutional way to do things, whether you prefer the outcome or not.
