Captured alive. John Allen was executed in 2009 while Lee Boyd got life and now wants out on parole. May he never see the outside of prison!

Anthony Sowell, aka Cleveland Strangler murdered at least 11 people. Captured alive. Died earlier this year at 61, possibly of COVID.

Samuel Little was the most prolific American serial killer with 63-90 murders. Captured alive.

As has been shown from the examples from John Allen Mohammed to Samuel White, it does not. Vast majority of murderers, regardless of race, get captured alive.
The question is not what they did before the cops show up. If they surrender, they don't get shot. If they pull a weapon or attack the police or act like they have a weapon, they will likely get shot. Again, regardless of race.

Police have had a history of not getting involved in 'domestics'. This was probably far more prominent in the 1980s and I suspect police would be even more reluctant getting involved in same-sex 'domestics'.

The point is, the idea that Dahmer would have been caught sooner but for his 'white privilege' is unsubstantiated.

The shooter was an unarmed, naked and wounded man, surrendering without making any sort of threatening moves. Do you think if he had been black, the cops would have shot him? And say what? That he was hiding a gun where?

The same thing they said when they shot a naked, unarmed Anthony Hill (and other black men) who had even less a place to hide any weapon as this shooter kept on his underwear and Hill (and other black men in other incidents) were completely naked.

The three women who found the boy also were extremely concerned for his safety. They recognized him from the neighborhood and called 911. They also strongly protested him being 'returned' to Dahmer. But the women were black, the victim was Asian and the cops and Dahmer were...white. So, despite reeking smells coming from his apartment, despite having a naked, BLEEDING, obviously extremely distressed 14 year old victim, they returned him to Dahmer who then murdered him and dismembered him.

To make it even better: Dahmer had sexually assaulted the boy's 13 year old brother earlier.

The cops lost their jobs, eventually. That victim lost his life, as did at least 5 subsequent Dahmer victims.

No hindsight: he was observably young, naked, bleeding, babbling incoherently and he clearly did NOT want to go with Dahmer. The women who called the police to get aid for him also protested him being returned to Dahmer.

Dahmer was caught when another of his victims escaped and when they went to the apartment, they actually investigated the smells of rotting flesh that permeated Dahmer's apartment that neighbors had complained about for years and these cops totally disregarded. The cops didn't even halfway do their job. Not even a little bit of their job. They took the word of a white guy that it was a domestic dispute between two gay loves and ignored the bleeding, naked, incoherent child.
