Biden wants to Appoint Communist to take over Banking: Scary & Unbelievable

Generation 55, do you even remember what this thread that you started was even about? In all seriousness are you suffering from a condition that has an adverse affect to your attention span? You appear to be simply spewing unrelated bullshit with no rhyme nor reason.

Yes but like I said, the conversation travels sometimes. Plus, this is my thread! I'm not mad. But ever since I pointed out that Kim Jong stopped the nuclear tests once Trump put the sanctions in place shows you just how scared Kim Jong wa of Trump. Trump actually did something no other President ever did. Yet, people still say he was a bumbling fool who couldn't pick up his pants.
Are you talking about the same Trump that saluted a North Korean general?

The same Trump that literally wrote a love letter to Kim Jong Un?

And why can't you add the "Un" to Kim Jong?

Granted, Trump could not "scare" Kim Jong Il (what with him being dead and all), but leaving off those two letters seems an odd flex. Oh, and the notion that Trump did "something no other President ever did" by placing sanctions on North Korea?

Really?

Last time I checked, US Presidents have been pretty stern with North Korea. Carpet bombing them in the Korean War comes to mind. I guess you missed the bit of US history where Truman and Eisenhower actually went to war with the country run by the Kim family. Then of course there was the rest of the Cold War, where every single US President imposed sanctions on the DPRK. So far we've got Truman, Ike, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama who all did what you claim "no other President ever did."

So...all of them. Every single President since the founding of the North Korean state has been as tough or tougher on them that the guy who saluted one of their generals and put that little twit (Kim Jong Un) on an equal footing.

For a guy who seems torqued off about "communism," you seem awfully apologetic about the lone US President who sucked up to one of the last actual "communist" dictators.

OH, it was a Navy hospital ship. Excuse me.
No. Not likely. I mean, you COULD have said "he sent a ship" and been completely correct. Or "...a military asset" or "military personnel" or "Navy issued doctor people." All KINDS of things you might have said to make your point.
But, alas, you half-remembered an anecdote and were content to just make shit up.

And not even good shit.

We do not have a battleship Trump could have sent, not a manned and operational one, and it would not have been terribly useful anyway.

You show you are not really familiar with the topic, the details. You are clesrly just parroting shit you kinda heard, half-remember, and baselessly feel strongly about. And you come out looking rather like you went off half-cocked. Or cucked.
It's like you read my mind...

And then Gen55 thinks we should take heed to his national security suck ups to his favorite Clownstick seriously, cuz ya know Trump was playing 3-D chess the whole time. He's the smartest, bestest, smarter than the Generals and everyone. Yeah, the guy who didn't know WTF the nuclear triad was while running for president nor dozens of other obvious things internationally. Butt butt...he got the NK dictator to make him a pretty promise after giving the petty little dictator a world stage to play on for the first time ever. Good thing he didn't try to order the generals to invade the wrong country...Balkins-Baltic.. or even an imaginary one (Nambia). And good thing Clownstick got the border between Colorado and Mexico secured...can't believe those dumb librals never closed that up. It’s not like India's got China on its border, and sooo many other deranged thoughts from the orange turd...

Regardless of the mistake of saying Mexico/Colorado border, do you believe in open borders or not? Marxists believe in open borders and that people should be able to go wherever they want no questions asked.

Of course there's a fatal flaw in this thinking: How do you keep out the terrorists and criminals who want to do nothing but reign terror on people? See terrorism in Europe. I know you guys just laugh and handwave away the European terror attacks from radical islamic fundamentalists, but it's very heartless to do that. I don't stand for any religious terrorism, but because I'm not a coward, I can say that. I just don't agree with how liberals say, "Christians suck! Terrible people!" but when they speak of Muslims they say, "not all Muslims are bad!!!!" Seems like they should be just as quick to say, "not all christians are bad!!!"

Open borders? That's a less-government position. Contrary to what many Republicans seem to believe, border guards are government employees, not vigilantes.

You do realize that part of the reason we have North Korea today is because Eisenhower gave up and left the country divided. The war was supposed to unite the country but he basically just gave up.

Open borders? That's a less-government position. Contrary to what many Republicans seem to believe, border guards are government employees, not vigilantes.

Didn't I explain that small government DOES NOT MEAN no government!! Democrats want government to control everything or at least 90% of everything. Republicans maybe only want 10-20% of government control over the necessary things that protects our life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And here was me thinking Americans getting a shitty education was just a stereotypical trope. Huh.

Didn't I explain

No. You didn't.

No. You didn't.

"On July 27, 1953, seven months after President Eisenhower's inauguration as the 34th President of the United States, an armistice was signed, ending organized combat operations and leaving the Korean Peninsula divided much as it had been since the close of World War II at the 38th parallel."

Thank you for proving my point. I feel no need to derail this dumpster fire of a thread any further.

Dwight Eisenhower was a REPUBLICAN. Yes, a REPUBLICAN.

Furthermore, the US-led coalition was up against some 1.5 million Chinese soldiers, and Presidents Truman and Eisenhower didn't want to start World War III.

No they don't.

Marx said bugger all about the issue, but regardless, the idea that borders should be open and people free to go where they want to is not "Marxism"; It's "freedom".
Of course there's a fatal flaw in this thinking: How do you keep out the terrorists and criminals who want to do nothing but reign terror on people?
LOL

You don't, and can't. Terrorists don't need to cross borders, they are perfectly capable of carrying out attacks in their countries of origin. Most terrorists do this.

The 7/7 bombers in London were born in the UK. Timothy McVeigh was born in the USA.

International borders do little to prevent terrorism, and where terrorists do need to cross borders to carry out attacks, it's rarely challenging for them to do so.
See terrorism in Europe. I know you guys just laugh and handwave away the European terror attacks from radical islamic fundamentalists, but it's very heartless to do that. All religious terrorists are evil fuckers. Islamic terrorists need to be found, arrested, tried, and incarcerated to protect everyone.

International borders do basically nothing to assist in this process.

It's hilarious to see someone arguing that freedom is a Marxist plot and must be prevented, though.

That would explain why it's so easy to get out of North Korea and get through the Berlin Wall. o_O

You do realize that part of the reason we have North Korea today is because Eisenhower gave up and left the country divided. The war was supposed to unite the country but he basically just gave up.
You do realize the Chinese were a little bit involved, right? Had it been just the US (and allies) against the North Korean army, it would have turned out different, but Ike correctly surmised that a long, protracted war with China was not a good idea. You make it seem like arguably one of the greatest generals in our history was a pansy who ran away crying.

Then again, you think that actually getting into a shooting war with North Korea is not "getting tough" on them, while getting chummy with their dictator is the most manly thing a President can do.

They didn't create the virus out of thin air. They were experimenting with viruses and Fauci admitted to funding gain of function research. He should he charged with treason. He's no Saint the way the liberal media makes him out to be. He's one of the most crooked people out there.

For the record: The claim that the virus that causes Covid-19 was manufactured in a lab (whether with or without assistance from Dr. Fauci) is a charge that even Senator Rand Paul didn't make.

Like in a game of Gossip, Mr. 55 has misconstrued Rand Paul's rant to make a claim that even that Senator didn't make. Next turn, expect to hear Ann Coulter and Alex Jones tell us that Wuhan and Fauci were conspiring to exterminate the Caucasian race.

THE IRS has a higher ROI than almost any business! :giggle: Yet the QOP "saves taxpayer dollars" by laying off IRS auditors whenever it gains control.

A few decades ago I read Forbes (in print) frequently. I stopped buying the mag when an article attacked the Clinton Administration for investigating tax fraud: "They should pursue criminals instead."

Is it coincidence that the (off-topic) YouTube posted in this thread showing Rand Paul repeatedly interrupting Dr. Fauci was published by Forbes?
