List: Which Democrats Have Endorsed Kamala Harris for President - The New York Times - from Tuesday to Wednesday, two more House members have endorsed KH.
I used the Congressmember ideology scores at govtrack.us as ideology measurements, and I did statistical tests to see how the various populations of politicians compare in ideology. I used the difference in medians, which I used to try to avoid assumptions about distributions. Positive more left, negative: more right.
Before JB dropped out, continue: +0.025, step down: -0.03, expressed concern: 0
The Monday after JB dropped out, support KH (half of Congress): +0.01 , statement without supporting KH -0.06, no comment: 0
The Wednesday after JB dropped out, support KH (nearly all of Congress): 0, statement without supporting KH -0.11, no comment: -0.02
This is consistent with what AOC Instagrammed about, that those who wanted JB to drop out also wanted KH to drop out. The converse is true, that those who wanted JB to say also want KH to say.
