The unsuccessful coup was 1/6.

Remember, 1/6 wasn't about actually taking power. Rather, 1/6 was about disrupting the certification. The Constitution has a fallback for what to do--Congress votes, 1 vote per state. That would have given it to The Felon. Just because it was a very indirect approach doesn't make it not a coup.

The reason Hunter Biden's laptop hasn't been taken up is that it's clearly been tampered with. There is stuff on there that "happened" when he was in rehab and had no access to the laptop. Thus nothing on it can be trusted, any competent criminal investigator will simply dismiss it.

Hillary Clinton--your side has gone nuts over demonizing her, the only wrongdoing you found was working around the government's messed-up e-mail.

Trump indictments--every one of them looks completely solid to me. What's there to look into? What facts are even in dispute in any of the cases?

I'm not sure what you're complaining about with the Epstein list. The fundamental problem is that it doesn't establish guilt--it's basically a list of people he tried to get, it doesn't show whether he succeeded.

You're coming at this with the approach that there's great evil that isn't being held accountable. In reality you're the one who won't hold great evil accountable--because you voted for it. Yes, our system is far from perfect--but your response is to jump from the frying pan to the fire. And we don't want to jump in the fire.

I am increasingly sure that these ridiculous nominations are nothing more than a filtering mechanism to find out who needs to be expelled from the Republican Party. Tragically, if any of them fails to be confirmed, those voting against them will be excised. If not, well, mission accomplished; Murka is on its way to full authoritarian shithole status.
