Which movie did you watch today and how would you rate it?

Tried to watch High Anxiety and it wasn't working for me. Brooks can be hit or miss at times. He has had some dogs out there. He is also responsible for some of the best as well.

That's one of my favorites. I still think about the blowup homage scene.

Found some other goodies.

House of Darkness

I watched this one about 4 hours ago and had to look up its name because I'd already forgotten it.

It seemed like an intriguing slow burn at first, and it was building towards something. Then nothing happened. Then things kept on not happening, except for one scene which turned out to be a dream sequence and had nothing to do with anything else in the film, but by then I was too far into the movie to turn it off, which is the worst kind of movie there is.

Synopsis: Guy gets picked up by Pretty Woman. Guy tries to get laid. It's implied that Guy's a creep for trying to get laid. Pretty Woman is evil. Things don't end well for Guy.

2/10

Deadpool Vs Wolverine

I hated it.
Sure it was mostly funny. And it brings Wolverine back from the dead (I didn't know he was dead, so meh..).
But Deadpunk is an ass. He ruins for me, every scene he is in.

Deep Water, 6/10; Stars Ben Affleck as Vic, a retired wealthy tech bro. He has a wife Melinda and young daughter. Melinda is in the habit of taking on lovers which Vic tolerates but he is becoming increasingly jealous of. One of her lovers has disappeared and the rumor is that Vic had something to do with it. Melinda is entertaining another male friend, Vic confesses to him that he killed his wife's last lover, as a joke. This was probably the best scene in the movie. The movie does have some tense moments but there isn't enough action in the movie to keep the viewer engaged. There is too much emphasis on the build up which may be fine for some people. The acting performances are good, Affleck plays his character well, maybe because him and the character are similar. Deep Water is decent, worth a watch.
