Funny! But also sad. Barbos really believes this. And from what I read, a great deal of Russians are similarly bamboozled. They believe that we are all Nazis and that we want to invade their country. I hear from some people that all we need is diplomacy. How the hell is diplomacy going to solve wack a doodle conspiracy theory that are driving the Russian invasion? This is one of the reasons why I have always always favored decentralized power. No to dictatorships. It might very well be that Putin has accumulated so much power that WW3 starts due to a country being manipulated into believing that Nato wants to invade it!

A lot of our own people think our fellow countrymen are Nazis! Didn't someone on this forum recently call you a Nazi? Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Sure. People believe wacky things. But the difference here is that Putin is using these fears to justify invading other countries. Russia threatens to nuke certain areas of Europe almost every single day. Why? Because we are nazis and we want to invade their country. How do we stop a pending war with people who believe such nonsense?
 
Can Putin even prosecute another war? Russia has been suffering hundreds of thousands of casualties (and yes, I know that includes injured) and has lost a lot of mechanized equipment like tanks as well.

Amigo, I think that the Sydney Sweeney is a Nazi was a fabricated story by the right to make the left look foolish. I don't know a single person on the left who believed this.
 
Nazi is pretty often used as a catch all boogie man term, just as communist is used as a boogie man I don’t agree with you catch all term.

Which doesn’t mean that we do not have a whole bunch of Nazi-adjacent people ( cough cough Pete Hegseth) in positions of importance in our current government.

According to this webpage from Ukraine's Ministry of Finance, Russia is losing around 900-1000 military personnnel a day in Ukraine, and has lost 1,107,400 in the war to 29 September 2025.

The stark fact that leaps out at me from that page is just how many men Russia loses, and how few tanks and armoured vehicles. These guys are so poorly equipped and supported.

Also of note is that aircraft are barely engaged, but UAVs are being destroyed at a rate of hundreds a day (and presumably therefore deployed in even greater numbers).

It's a different kind of war from anything seen previously - but it still mostly consists of men in muddy holes with inadequate supply and support, just like every war since forever.

Putin can't prosecute the ground war he's already got; But he can distract NATO with military aviation assets (which he dare not deploy in Ukraine, because they will just get shot down), and make the EU countries want to keep their materiel for their own defence, rather than sending it to Ukraine.

And there is, you know, an understandable reason why someone might think someone who holds the view of "genetic superiority" could possibly be a Nazi.

I think its fair to say its a little of both. Even left mainstream media was quick to jump on the ad as flirting with "white supremacy", etc (MSNBC for example). And there is no shortage of knuckleheads on TikTok taking it to the next level, by calling it Nazi propaganda. Even her German Shepard dog was not spared, because, as you know some real Nazi's in 1940's Germany liked and owned them.:rolleyes: And not to miss a golden opportunity, as usual, the right jumped on it in an effort to milk the lunacy for all it was worth. So, politics as usual. But, yeah, for the most part, it was only the far left fringe who went the full Nazi route, which is probably why you don't know anyone who really believes it.

What makes you think ANY return? Aren't they just flying bombs? In any case they probably get redeployed untill destroyed.
My guess is the deployed/destroyed numbers are close to equal.

Conventionally, all in against NATO? I highly doubt it. They'd lose Kaliningrad for good and access through the Danish Straits to the Baltic Sea pretty fast. If the US were committed, we could probably hem them in to Russia's borders and then let Ukraine pick off targets at will. They wouldn't be able to support Transnistria and it would be gone for good. Belarus may waver.
Seriously, if Trump committed, being the prick he is, he'd probably want to take Eastern Russia as reparations.

Some are certainly single use. Others are good for multiple deployments. I suspect that's the difference between a UAV and a cruise missile, though Minfin don't specify the definitions they use, so I am only guessing.

And note that in a war, pretty much everything, including personnel, is redeployed until destroyed.

Today, I think even the nations close to Russia could take care of Russia. They've little more than human bodies as far as capabilities go.

Well I'm actually kind of split about it. I don't actually think he's sincere in his claim he's "disappointed with Putin", because, as we all know, he lies about everything, and he's probably just saying that to seem tough. So it's reasonable to think he could help Putin if push came to shove.
