FIFA always ensures that either a European or Sith American country is in the final 2. Or ideally both. The US face Australia, Paraguay, and Turkey. So a collection of mid-card to lower mid-card nations. The US has been doing well in friendlies as reached the local tournament cup final. Hard to tell how that will transition in to the World Cup Final. Especially with the ridiculously diluted field of teams.
