Is there any evidence the Dem Establishment have supported
any of the DSA or far-left candidates? Right now the Democrat Party has weak internal leadership. I don't think anyone knows what to do at the moment. Howard Dean helped get the super majority in 2006. But at the moment, it is hard to know what the voting base is going for.
Eric Cantor's loss in 2014 was the virus infection taking root in the GOP, i.e. the internal revolution by the Fox News base. The Democrats aren't quite there yet with the far left, and there isn't a huge media circus trying to make that happen either. But these populist movements can occur when a large enough minority can outweigh the majority. Like how Trump did in in 2016.
So we'll see how the primary finishes up. Wong has said some dumb things, might have dumb positions. The GOP front runner thinks the 2020 election was stolen. He voted to object to Biden electors on
January 6th. That was a bid to steal an election. So yeah, cancel T-day is dumb, at least for the reason Wong provides. But lets look at the competition. Looks like someone who is part of a movement that might become a threat to democracy down the road verses someone who
actually voted to steal an election.
