There was a dramatic surge in white supremacist violence in 2017.

White supremacists and other far-right extremists were responsible for 59% of all extremist-related fatalities in the US in 2017, according to the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Center on Extremism. The ADL’s annual report—“Murder and Extremism in the United States in 2017”— found that the number of murders conducted by white supremacists US more than doubled last year, compared to 2016.

According to past conservative arguments, we can now conclude that all conservatives are terrorists.

Since rightists are never wrong, the logic of this argument is completely valid. All rightists are terrorists, all rightists should be made to apologize for being terrorists, each conservative and libertarian is now expected to prove that they are not terrorists, and we should probably consider deporting them all because they are a threat to society.

Unless of course you think it's possible for conservolibertarians to be wrong about these kinds of generalizations, but only one of those horrible social justice warriors would think a thing like that.

If you are a conservative or libertarian, please prove to me that you are not a terrorist.

Then apologize for all the acts of terrorism. Your apology must include the phrase "radical conservative terrorist," or else your apology doesn't count and you have to apologize all over again.

Then explain why we shouldn't just deport all of you. To protect ourselves, mind you. We're still allowed to protect ourselves from terrorists, right?

The number killed by white extremists doubled in 2017 from what it was in 2016. So from 10 to 20. I wouldn't say the number is alarming, but it does perk the ears a little. It is hard not to notice a correlation between the White House Ellipsis and this increase.

But the number is also dwarfed by the Las Vegas massacre and is competitive with the Texas Church shooting. America is dangerously becoming numb to murder.

It would be wrong to use the same illogical standard to judge all conservatives, etc.... even if it is viscerally satisfying. I would say it might be useful if I thought if they might get the lesson but I seriously I doubt that would happen.

I would agree, except that I have been told again and again that I am definitely wrong and they are definitely right. We must judge every population by their worst and punish entire populations based on the behavior of the worst. To say otherwise is to be a freedom-hating social justice warrior, and no one wants to be that.
