I am okay with the fact that Ocasio-Cortez is a socialist. In fact, given that she 1. is a democratic socialist, 2. triggers conservative snowflakes, 3. has a great personality, and 4. looks pretty, I think I am in love. No, wait, it's not love, it's obsession.

There is one thing I love about her even though she is far left of my values. And that is that the Republicans can no longer ignore extreme wealth disparity any longer or they will become extinct.

The writing is on the wall.

I don't agree with a lot of her political positions, but I loved her dancing video. What the fuck is wrong with dancing? Are these critics all conservative Baptists? It's like when the assholes posted a photo of Obama smoking what looked like a joint when he was in college. It only added to his image as the cool president.

I do love her energy, her enthusiasm and her optimism. She's young and inexperienced and she has a lot to learn, but the thing I like best about the Democratic party is its diversity of thought, and ideology, as well as the diversity of ethnicity, gender, religious beliefs, etc. It does make it harder to compromise, but that's the way it should be. Democrats are a better reflection of the country. The Republicans on the other hand, frequently remind me of sheep. I prefer cats to sheep.

With people like Ocasio-Cortez and Tlaib in congress, twenty-somethings may just look up from their phones.
