Then you would have to agree with the religious right that Hollywood has been pushing the gay agenda. If sexy video game characters make some men objectify women then certainly the proliferation gay characters in media is influencing some towards homosexuality.

Of course it does. It doesnt make people gay but it normalizes the existence of gays.

It is interesting to compare and contrast portrayals of gays in mass media, especially starting in maybe the mid late 80s) when it was annoying and off putting to a lot of people including myself. There was not an immediate benefit moneywise, turning off a larger amount of people than the niche market of gay people and people who were more socially advanced.

So why did they advance the agenda despite losing money? Is Hollywood that gay?
