I mean, he legitimately might not know. Trump criticized Biden for Autopen, and between those lines claiming people were signing documents using the authority of the president.

We know Trump makes accusations to the mirror. Everything from PizzaGate to this, we can well assume was actually Trump's activity, in letting other people run amok with pardons in his name.

This is indeed insane. I wish I could get on a national tv show so I could express my professional legal and military opinion that these orders are grossly illegal and the military MUST disobey them, or face prosecution. They are not immune even if the president is. I also talked to various colleagues who are still working in the Pentagon. They are appalled. They categorically admitted that these are war crimes.

I wonder if Trump would try to indict me if I could get on TV.

I want to add that this has significant consequences beyond merely tolerating these symbols. It’s a recruiting call for neo Nazis and other fascists. It’s who they now want in the military so they can ensure that they will do their bidding to suppress the American people and keep themselves in power. Prior to this, those with Nazi Tattoos would not be admitted into the military. Now they will be welcomed. This opens the door to KKK and Nazi members to join the military. This is a seriously bad step.

Given how this administration lies all the time, I can only assume that it was going to happen but the media got hold of it and maybe now it won't happen.

For the official statement to be: “The @washingtonpost should be embarrassed it published this fake crap,” tells me it's true. This administration can't even lie convincingly or with any degree of believably. Official statements from this administration more resemble shit throwers on NewsMax than any credible administrator in government.
