Assuming multi-cellular life exists elsewhere in the universe, what do you think it looks like?

I was thinking, just possibly, that a moon orbiting the planet could impart momentum in such a way that the planet's poles rotated as it went around the star (so that one side is tidally locked). Now the planets rotation would affect the moon as well- imparting some momentum to it, so the whole system appears to be a house of cards.

It seems that you are assuming something like a double planet whith the planets becomming tidally locked with each other sorta like our Earth/Moon system is in the process of doing if we don't loose the Moon before it happens. But then one of the planets couldn't also become tidally locked to the star.
