Amazing that the NDP has apparently gone from Heir Apparent to Mulrooney's PC Party.
 
Like I said, a majority Government for the Libs. :D

While the Conservatives held onto a number of seats in Ontario, Toronto and Montreal were hard Liberal. More importantly, the Libs have taken other cities such as Winnipeg and Vancouver.

So long story short, the libs eviscerated the NDP and took back seats the Conservatives won in 2011.

I think we left it in 2020. He's on pretty much everything until then.

According to Harper, he's going to be putting up drug houses and brothels in my neighbourhood, so tha got my vote and I'm looking forward to not having to drive a few blocks to get to the brothel like some kind of chump.
 
Well. Mulcair's speech was as weak as his campaign. You know he's fired so he should have stepped down with dignity as opposed to making everyone wait for an announcement which never came. It's not like there's a second thing anyone is looking to hear from him.
 
So, Harper bitched out too. There's a decent chance that he'll go to the Conservative offices tomorrow and find that his keycard doesn't work and everyone pretends they don't see him when he knocks on the window and asks to be let in.

They may not have many good leadership options in the wings from (soon-to-be) current MPs. Some of the more notable MPs either didn't run this election, or lost. A few are in ridings which haven't been decided yet. I'm not sure who has been elected so far. If he is going to step down, it can wait for a little bit longer. There are four more years until the next election in all likelihood.
 
"You can appeal to the better angels of our nature and you can win while doing it". You should listen to that during your campaign, Americans, because ... oh, fuck it. You're not going to listen.

That's like just finishing up a nice steak dinner and then having someone show up with pie.

Just so long as he doesn't throw a wild party and smash up the furniture - our outgoing conservative leader has patent pending on that.
 
I don't think there's much risk of Stephen Harper having a wild party.

That's because all the hookers and blow are at the Liberal Party HQ, right where he said they would be.

I guess this proves Harper isn't wrong about everything.

Well, on his first day on the job, my new Liberal MP did drive a group of niqab-wearing barbarians over to my neighbourhood where they burned everything down. My first reaction was to get angry but then I remembered that Harper warned me multiple times that this specific thing would happen, so I realized that it was pretty much my own fault and I couldn't go around blaming other people.
