Guardians? Tom Hanks (interned-ish at the Great Lakes Theater for a few years very early in his career.... he has apparently done well for himself, mainly as a cross-dresser) announced in a video the new identity of the Cleveland Baseball team.
So now the Cleveland franchise will no longer need to worry about controversy over the Indians name, but instead will wonder... Guardians... really?
I'm not the gatekeeper to all knowledge, but I do know a few things, and I had no idea there were statues at all, forget guardians of the traffic. That almost sounds like a prank.article said:The name Guardians is a reference to well-known art deco statues located on the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge, which spans the Cuyahoga River and connects downtown Cleveland to the city’s trendy Ohio City neighborhood. Those statues are known as the “Guardians of Traffic.”
