Nah, you'll be fine. If almost everyone dies, there's enough food in just one modern distribution centre for a few dozen people to survive for a century.
And if they don't all die, you can just kill the fuckers for hoarding.
Which is a lot of the reason for what's going on. There was a legitimate uptick in demand due to the advice to be prepared to stay in your place for two weeks, that triggered some shortages, so now people are reacting to the shortages far more than to the original reason.

I just went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. There was plenty of food. People are just hoarding toilet paper and paper towels.

Daughter send me a video of the toilet paper section of a San Diego Von's upon opening at 0500. The video is 32 seconds long. That's how long it took the animals to clear it out.

However, she really dropped the ball when she opened the borders and a million fakefugees entered Germany in 2015 alone. Even today, Germany is getting a huge influx of mostly Islamic migrants from countries such as Afghanistan, all due to Merkel's pro-mass migration policies. Most of them Germany will never be able to get rid of.
Compared to long-term threat of Überfremdung and Islamization, COVID will prove to be just a blip.
