It's still better than the Democrats hoping millions will die from the virus just so Trump looks bad. I would call THAT extremely evil and disgusting. Democrats are politicizing the virus now.

If there is a vaccine under Trump's watch, the Dems would lose their minds.

All the other western countries are far better at testing than we are, and the CDC (no doubt at Pence's orders) is hindering others doing testing. We should be able to be tested now!

If Bernie was President, he already said he wouldn't shut down the border to stop the virus because that's racist. The left is getting out of control. Stopping the spread of a virus is now considered racist. Fox News was just discussing this.

Just saying, Keith. Just pointing out that Bernie would be even more incompetent as a President. When you think shutting down a border to stop the spread of a disease is racist, you've really lost all critical thinking skills.

Italy and China shut down their borders to stop the spread. Didn't see Bernie screaming that China and Italy are racist scum.
 
More likely he is suppressing his skills as thinks that will result in more votes for him. This coming election is his last and best shot at the big prize.

His Flatulence didn't shut down the border, either. It was already here before the half-assed quarantine of passengers from China.

Note that this didn't come in by illegal immigrants, it came in on airplanes with perfectly legal travelers, most of them US citizens.

And I'd like to note that Clownstick is still trying to blame Pres. Obama 3 years into his administration for his/Repugs fuckup trying to tear down the CDC and any other health agency they could strip mine for dollars. For all his claims to be so smart, better than the generals, the doctors, the economists, et.al., it really is pretty pathetic that he is trying to pass the buck backwards 3 years.

The South Koreans were prepared and it shows. We are living with The Dotard, and it shows. Big government includes being prepared and planning for lots of things. The invisible hand of the market doesn't help with this kind of stuff.
 
So, our idiot president has been with and possibly touched another person who has been infected with COVID-19. The man really needs to keep his funky hands to himself and be tested for the virus.

I've seen Trump shaking hands a lot lately. I don't know for sure if he touched this one, but this man stayed at his hotel in Florida, according to the news I'm watching right now. Trump is symptom free right now, but considering that incubation period can be over a week, he really does need to be tested, along with his nutty buddy Pence.

I thought that Nancy Pelosi's plan to help people by offering free testing and free healthcare coverage to those that become infected with this shit was a great idea, as were the plans to pay for 3 weeks of sick leave, and extended unemployment, since a lot of people are going to be laid off as this economic impact of this becomes more serious. We shall see if the Republicans are willing to work out something with her. This is the time for both parties to work together for a change, but I'm not too optimistic yet.
 
I wish all the world leaders would give a speech today to tell everyone to stop hoarding the toilet paper.

Yup, and today even the wet ass wipes were gone. (Passing through the aisle in the remote hope they might get some unscented sanitizing wipes in. I have enough scented ones but I really dislike using them.) Rice: None. Beans: 15-bean soup mix only. Flour and sugar low.
 
We still have toilet paper here, but my neighbor drove to several towns in search of hand sanitizer for her 92 year old aunt. I told her not to waste her time, but she didn't listen, and of course she didn't find any hand sanitizer. Her aunt is a conservative Christian who thinks that god will protect her, so she's refuses to stay at home. Oh well.

I went to the grocery store yesterday for one thing, but I didn't see anyone hoarding anything. I have to go to a different grocery store today, so I will be sure and check and see what might be out of stock.

If you want some background on the type of person Peter Dutton is, in the last election he accused his opponent using her disability as an excuse to not live in the electorate they were both campaigning in. He's also anti immigration unless a)the people involved are white and b)he gets something out of the deal. He's a real class act.
 
And now the hoarding has spread to basically all departments. All the stores are packed now with long lines. This is the major crisis of the moment. Really, all government officials at every level need to make a statement to fuckings stop buying everything.
