Dancing in streets as Aleppo liberated from US backed terrorists

It happened because we are a nation that spends far too much on military and these guys just can't sit still. They have to justify us paying a large flock of generals to fight unnecessary wars. The following chart shows where free medical care and free college could come from. We are being ruled by assholes who believe the human race is no good without war. We need to purge our military ranks and bring our troops and drones home...and quit this foolishness.

They've got to stop asking Loren where to spend our money! We need a new world order where war mongering is not allowed.;)

Gee, I wonder why that happened.

I don't know where Secular Talk got those numbers.

According to the OMB the total budget for 2015 was $3.8 Trillion:
Social Security, Unemployment & Labor = $1.28 Trillion or 33.26% of the budget.
Medicare & Health = $1.06 Trillion or 27.42% of the budget.
Military = $609.3 Billion or 15.88% of the budget.

https://www.nationalpriorities.org/budget-basics/federal-budget-101/spending/

Maybe the fact that they are claiming that Social Security, Labor, and Medicare and Health are part of the discretionary budget rather than the lion's share of the mandatory budget should have told you something.

What does the US budget have to do with the Russian ambassador's assassination in Turkey?

It also excludes state and local spending.

As it should be excluded since State and local spending is not part of the Federal budget. But the numbers that Secular Talk gave for Social Security, labor, medicare etc. are pure BS.

In our federal system, a good portion of government services are delegated to the states. It should be included to give a more accurate picture on how much our society spends on the military as a portion of all government spending.

Reality check: This is an Islamist mad at Russia. That's not us.

Loren: Kyle Kulinski (the producer of Secular Talk) is not an Islamist and not mad at Russia. You have your head screwed on backwards. Try posting something sane sometime...you know something that doesn't recommend we kill our way to safety. You are so paranoid and also so WRONG! For your information, I am not a Communist or an Islamist either. You are just a repeater of the military industrial complex's endless excuses for inhumane and continuous military violence at the behest of the producers of the destructive equipment and its logistics for PROFIT. I don't know why anybody would listen to you...you are the spitting image of DADDY WARBUCKS.;)

You missed the point.

I said this assassination was an Islamist mad at Russia.

You tried to derail with a misleading graph about the US budget.

If it were only that simple, Mr. Simple. I will always try to derail arguments that point to continuing endless wars over out of date economies of oil. You are the blind one here, Loren. My graph just showed that we have enough money to make our society function without fucking the entire world and poking our noses into Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, add Turkey. If we do, we are the Turkeys. Add Russia, we are still the Turkeys. Loren, you have never shown even a peripheral sense of what we are doing to our environment, not to mention other human beings in the world. You are the true Narcissist. For a long time after you quit bombing people, there will still be people looking for revenge. Your sledge hammer approach to world politics is far too common and creates an atmosphere where we cannot fashion a peace out of the tattered remains of our poor sick environment. I think it would be good if you would simply stop thinking about world politics. Your kind of thinking is over represented in the world. That is why we are having endless wars and rapidly polluting what is left of our environment. If you want a job. Find a way to make Trump go away.

This isn't about oil. It's about the threat Islam poses to the world.

Loren: That's a bunch of bullshit. It is about oil and its place in political domination. You know it. I know it. So does anybody who pays attention at all to these bloody resource wars. If it isn't about extracting oil, it is about transporting it in pipelines. It amazes me that you can expect us to believe we can actually be threatened by these backward tribes? The danger is only in the region because the U.S. keeps supplying an copious flow of weapons for these people to kill each other off. Every once in awhile one of these backwards kooks gets on a plane and brings a trickle of violence home to its source...the U.S. They are not much of a threat and you know that. People like you keep the gun and military equipment manufacturers busy shipping first quality weapons to countries like Saudi Arabia, then you come along and tell us about some Wahabi threat. Saudi Arabia is the only Arab country the U.S. is willing to sell F-35's to. They in turn will bomb Yemen. They are not a force until we arm them. What blowback that comes to the U.S. will be miniscule compared with the hell our weapons deliver regularly to that part of the world. Your justification is false. You claimed I attempted to derail this thread. If I had my drothers I would derail the U.S. attempt to dominate the Middle East and let it settle its own affairs while we get started, along with China and Russia building green infrastructure instead of bombs.

Chinese manufacturing along with its fossil fuel consumption is making the air in Beijing unfit to breathe. Massive dependence on natural gas makes Europe a vassal of Putin's Russia. If we are not careful we will find ourselves outcasts all over the CIVILIZED WORLD...with Israel and Saudi Arabia our only "friends." Our country does not occupy the moral high ground in this issue and it does not provide its citizens with the services other countries do. That is what I was trying to explain. I know the Saudis have an interest in a natural gas pipeline across Syria to Europe to compete with the Russians. That is why Syria is torn all to hell. There are no more devout Wahabis than the Saudis...our "friends" (actually a hotbed of terrorism generation). These people should not be sold a sling shot. Our spending chart should not look like the one I posted earlier in this thread.

Just look at this ridiculous chart. You are afraid of which be bad Wahabi country?
http://www.pgpf.org/chart-archive/0053_defense-comparison

So we sell arms to what Wahabi country? Whose ally are they? Wake up!
