• Welcome to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board.

dear Trump supporter

Your link shows he's been completely ignorant and erratic about it and should never have the codes.

There's nothing erratic about it. It's more likely that your a fervent supporter of the two minutes hate.

Right, because only the irrational have a problem with Trump. There's nothing objectionable about him at all. He's simply the best.

Weirdo.

Just on this from your link.

“Biggest problem, to me, in the world, is nuclear, and proliferation”

“Maybe it’s going to have to be time to change”
Trump discussed his stance further with CNN in late March, saying the U.S. might need to change its decades-old policy of preventing Japan from getting a nuclear weapon. “Can I be honest are you? Maybe it’s going to have to be time to change, because so many people, you have Pakistan has it, you have China has it. You have so many other countries are now having it,” Trump told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Trump later appeared to contradict himself, saying he doesn’t “want more nuclear weapons.”

It's like Trump is the media/establishment's Emmanuel Goldstein. Gotta have that two minutes hate to keep the people in the faith. For fuck's sake.

In the faith of what?
Right wing authoritarian followers can't conceive of any other mindset but authority and conformity. So in their minds, everyone in opposition is "just as bad" and operating under the same framework except they've simply been influenced to choose the wrong people to like or hate.

What is erratic about his positions? The idea that Japan should be freed of the imposed post-WWII pacification is nothing new. And this is Clinton's view on using nuclear weapons (if the Clinton of 10 years ago was running for President, I'd support her).

It's funny how the left thinks that the right has a monopoly on authoritarianism and forced conformity. Chuckle.

What's erratic is that in one statement he says nuclear proliferation is the biggest problem in the world, and in the other he wants Japan to have nuclear weapons.

And this is Clinton's view on using nuclear weapons (if the Clinton of 10 years ago was running for President, I'd support her).

What do you mean? She said there she would attack Iran if Iran used nukes first, which is not a position that has changed to today.

Trump on the other hand has talked about using nukes against Isis and even in Europe. He thinks it's good to be "unpredictable" when it comes to nuclear weapons.

Sometimes we need to go the wrong way to get where we want to be. That's not erratic. That's strategic. Want to get out of credit card debt? Get more credit cards. Nothing like a boost in your credit score from the drasticly altered credit utilization.

Is there any real evidence Trump really said that?

No, not really. Just videos of his lips moving and those words playing on the accompanying soundtrack, in a voice that sounds a lot like teh Rump's...

Trump supporters are examples of what is called 'post-truth'. They believe whatever fits their prejudices, and anything else is a plot. Naturally they plan to destroy democracy, which is based on agreed facts. They are like the Brexiteers over here, but much, much worse.

In fairness, we all do that to some extent. The amazing thing about Trump supporters is the length to which they will go to ignore the nature of their Great Hero. A lifetime of taking advantage of people just like them for his own personal gain, his fraudulent money-grubbing schemes, his bribery of officials to allow those activities to go un-punished, and his utter lack of any moral compass make Adolph Hitler look like a paragon of virtue. At least Hitler had military experience that made his indignation truly righteous, a genuine vision for Germany's future and an actual plan to make it happen...

They think that way because: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_authoritarianism

Right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) is a personality and ideological variable studied in political, social, and personality psychology. Right-wing authoritarians are people who have a high degree of willingness to submit to authorities they perceive as established and legitimate, who adhere to societal conventions and norms, and who are hostile and punitive in their attitudes towards people who don't adhere to them. They value uniformity and are in favour of using group authority, including coercion, to achieve it.[1]

Emphasis mine. The link to the free e-book in my signature details the research.

It's the ordinary collectivist behavior of highly complex social animals that has served us so well in terms of survival of the species but because it is based largely in subconscious cognitive responses, does not serve us well in a ideological world, where much of the ideology is based in fear and judgment.

So he did not really say it?

It's curious that people who don't like Trump seem to have to resort to telling untruths in order to muster arguments. Not that I like Trump , but it's interesting to see how the opposition to Trump tends not to be based on facts

So he did not really say it?

Of course not. He never said Mexico was sending us rapists and thugs either. Just pictures of his lips moving, and a soundtrack of someone else saying those things in a voice doctored to sound like teh Donald. The lip-synch was excellent too - worthy of Milli Vanilli.
Amazing how those people concoct these lies about widdle twumpy wumpy, ain't it?

You think anything said by Trump and the trumpers is based on fact? Compared with those goebbelses Mrs Clinton is the Word of Truth.

Out of the two I think Trump is the least terrible. My only concern is that Hilary is healthier than she is made out to be, because then she will have more energy to lead some more regime changes in the Middle East where we are still seeing the fall out from Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and also Iran who could be a good friend to the US

Trump supported the invasion of Iraq when it mattered.

Despite his lies to the contrary now.

And his only criticism is that it went badly.

He wonders why you can't just nuke people you don't like. Hard to get more terrible than that.

I notice the minority parties are getting a better percentage this time. Maybe that's a good idea. Politics is not only leading the sheeple but sometimes following the sheeple.
Hilary of course said (about Ghadaffi) "We can, we saw, he died," then even more have been dying since.
