Yeah that's happened to me before, where I've responded to something in a post that had already been edited out.
I just didn't want people to think I had edited my post after reading your responded to it.
What kind of Internet forum allows civil discourse in which people admit their errors, and don't respond with insults and doubling-down on their minor misunderstandings? Zuckerberg would be horrified.
