I reinitialized my computer but I didn't save a copy of freecell.exe (XP version) and I cannot find a copy online from a reliable source.

Any help?

What version of Windows did you install? Don't they all come with a version of Solitaire?

Also, I would like to repeat/reinforce what Braces said.

I have Windows 10 but I wanted the XP version of free cell.

A few people helped me out by sending copies but in the end I resurected an old laptop and grabbed my original copies.

And the I installed Linux on the old machine completely reclaiming it.

Why did it have to be that specific version?

The one that comes with Windows 10 is functional, and there are probably a bunch available through the Windows app store (whatever it's called).

If Windows10 comes with Freecell or Minesweeper I've never been able to find it.

It's now called "Microsoft Solitaire Collection" and you might have to get it from the app store. I don't recall if I installed it from the app store or if it came with the original OS.

And if those aren't to your liking, there are probably gobs of solitaire/freecell games on the Windows app store.
