Bullshit. The blame will rest solely with the American voters who continually show that they will believe anything they are told. There is no-one in either party better qualified to be POTUS than Clinton.

Also doesn't matter - the electorate will believe what they're told. And apparently, when they're told contradictory things, they believe that which is most repeated. That's why Trump habitually repeats his lies three or four times whenever he speaks. It works.

Voters have proven to be stupid on many occasions. Bernie Sanders lost his bid for the nomination regardless of the DNC.
Sanders voters also prove my point. Almost 20% of them say they will vote for Johnson. It's hard to imagine anything more stupid than that. Trump probably has more in common with Sanders than Johnson. Johnson is about as far from Sanders politically as one can get. Voting Green would make more sense, although politically they would still be stabbing Bernie in the back, since voting for anyone but Clinton is the same as voting for Trump, which means all the policies that Sanders fought for will never come to pass if Trump gets elected-it's going to be tough even if Clinton gets elected with a republican congress, but at least she will appoint judges who may reinstate McCain Feingold, and allow us to enact better campaign finance reform if we ever get a progressive congress.
It's frustrating being a progressive when you realize that you will never get a majority because a significant proportion of your fellow progressives are too stupid to even understand that libertarians have nothing in common with us.
