Have you all heard about Dragon: The Game http://store.steampowered.com/app/305960/ ?

It's in very early alpha and is being developed by a company called Red Level Games.

The premise is that you are a dragon, not a dragon rider, not a human that can turn into a dragon, you are a dragon short and simple.

Multiplayer: Yes there is multiplayer featuring I do believe both PVP and PVE elements.

Leveling: There is leveling in the game. When you see say a cow, and kill it, you can then eat it. The cow will have a certain amount of food points which will go to your stomach. Over time, those food points will turn (digest) into growth points, which you then can use to buy up various stats like any other point based RPG system.

Gear/Crafting: This is where this game is interesting. Instead of building gear and such you grow it instead. The resources used, that I've seen, are growth points (also used for "leveling up"), gold, and sometimes other things such as needing three cows to make some armor (which are in the form of dragon scales). You'll more than likely start out with some simple recipes, but will be able to find better/different recipes throughout the game world in various forms.

There are several equipment slots with which you can use to equip your dragon with the equipment you find or make yourself. You can of course customize your dragons color.

Right now there is only a single dragon type available, but there are plans to make many different types of dragons each with their own specialty.

The most impressive thing about this game though is the scale. The goal is to match or exceed the size of Skyrim, because otherwise the world would feel cramped to a flying dragon.

This game has so much potential and I would love to see it get the funding it needs to reach said potential. Because sadly, the genre of games having you play as a dragon straight up with no middleman are very few and far between and there should be more of them.

Anyway, I'm excited for the potential of this game and hope you all will agree with me too.

It would also be awesome to see another indie developer come into the scene so that even more unique and creative games will be made that the bigger firms just can't take the risk of making.

So check it out!

Note that he's been around 8 years. I think this is someone who is mostly silent, not a bot.

Oh, if this is really a person, then I apologize for my comments!

Yes I am actually a real person, so apology accepted :).

I'm just someone who's really excited about this game and would love to see it have the success that Space Engineers, Planet Explorers, and maybe even Minecraft, yes I can dream.

The idea of roleplaying a dragon does seem pretty wacky, but right now I'm obsessed with Civ6 and learning the new mechanics.
