I’m not saying it’s aliens, but … aliens?

The Register has an article about this mystery, which includes:

We've also asked the FBI for comment and will update this story if and when we hear back about where they are hiding the aliens and how many people have been abducted.

And concludes with:

No word, however, on what happens if the lights in the sky turn out to be spacecraft sent from another planet. Hopefully, they come in peace. If not, The Register welcomes our new alien overlords and would like to remind them that as a trusted tech news website, our staff could be helpful in rounding up others to toil at whatever tasks they require.

Drones can provide a number of useful (if not invasive) surveillance, especially at night when they wouldn't be as noticeable. Of course, if no one takes public responsibility for them, that'll cause a good deal of frustration and opens up for a lot of hearsay and "theories". Especially when common citizens can be using them to spy on others more domestically.

There are rules regarding drones, and if these are flying at night, they are either breaking the rules explicitly, or they are government surveillance. Flying them anywhere near airspace is strictly prohibited.

what do all of you think about those drones flying up in New Jersey?
Airplanes viewed by morons or filmed by hoaxers and misrepresented. It is turning into stupid hysterics like the clown epidemic or the satanic daycare panic.

They’re interviewing some senator and playing one of the videos in the background of one of these drones flying over and then hovering. Video was shot from a moving car. The alleged drone had forward facing super bright light, white strobes and a red light on the port side and green on starboard. I didn’t sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night but I definitely know a fucking commercial airplane with regulation lighting and runway light lit on the final approach glide. Somebody is pulling everybody’s leg and it isn’t funny.

It is a little disquieting when Senator Blumenthal is quoted by the AP that “the drones” should be shot down if necessary while the AP story shows video from some kids phone of a commercial airliner that is supposedly a drone.

I am beginning to think it is partly mass hysteria fueled by the news media. Remember the Orson Wells' radio broadcast of War Of The Worlds as if it were live reporting of a Martian invasion.?

Alien sightings were reported and people packed up the car and headed for the hills.

In the news there have been as much as several hundred sightings reported in one day.

There were reports of dozens of drones flying in a line. Swarms of around 40 drones.

In a night time report somebody was pointing at a distant moving light saying there goes one now.

On the other hand, two of of Orson Welles' kids are still with us, and his most famous radio show was overdue for an update. Has anyone in Grovers Mill, NJ, seen the drones?

Cops and aliens have one thing in common, there is never one around when you need one.

I am thinking of selling T shirts with 'I survived the Jersey Drone Attack'
