Emailgate - FBI will soon have to make a choice, knuckle under or recommend criminal charges.

Her emails, because they aren't on a government server, are safe from Snowden silly.

Wow. It's obvious Hillary knew something was hinky. She should be investigated for not sharing this information.

Clinton is an open book to those who understand her motivations. The shit she has done has been out in the open. Even if she should have used some other server...she is singularly a sponsored DLC mule. It really is hard to stomach a female jackass, but there really is no reason to keep hammering on something as immaterial as her emails.

Also, to say that a "technical violation" of the law should not be prosecuted is kind of weird and opens a door to a whole new defense strategy for any crime ...
:D You know, it is funny that people do offer a "defense" of criminal wrong doing on claims of "it was only a technical violation of the law" so not serious. To the extreme it is only a technical violation that people happen to die after being shot. All the perpetrator did was pull a trigger so that is all they should be charged with if that is a crime.

First, I do think that in the interests of justice a prosecutor should not be chasing down inadvertent and inconsequential technical violations. In modern America, 80 percent of the citizens are in violation of some regulation and law (see the book: three felonies a day). One of the main goals of statism is make most participants in technical violations in order to make them beholden to the States nomenklatura.

Second, Hillary's violation was not inadvertent nor merely technical. She intended to skirt federal code so as to avoid a lawful record of her activities - not on just an occasional email but for the totality of her official business.

Third, by any measure her handling of classified material was criminally reckless and grossly negligent...including some top secret information. And for those who are not Hillary Clinton, this kind of action has contributed to punishment, including the firing an ambassador. A report issued by the State Department’s Inspector General in 2012 blasted Gration’s work at the Nairobi embassy, including his being reluctant to accept a directive that officials not routinely use private e-mail account for work purposes.

But unlike Hillary he did use access to US Embassy office and system, his official emails being fully captured by the State Department data bases.

Hillary should be charged with something other than a slap on the wrist, and plead guilty. At the very least, like her ambassador, she should never work for government again.

Cackles, cackles, cackles.

I don't think she'll be taking any more jobs at her age.

So the big crime is....

You missed the drum and hit dead air. Try

She may not get another job but she is certainly trying her damnedest to get another one. At least the news media is reporting that she is campaigning for a special job. I guess they could be just making it all up and Hillary has long since retired to a little love nest with Bill.

And the political witch-hunt continues. Hopefully they will find a blue dress with Hillz jillz.

How about a dress of Hillary's with Trump's jizz? :)

Too bad we can't prosecute those Republicans for dereliction of duty--the eternal witch hunts rather than doing the job they were elected to do.

To be fair, if they weren't going on a witch hunt against Clinton, they'd still find another reason to not do their jobs. It's not like they ever intended to do anything in the first place.

How about the gross negligence called the invasion of Iraq?

How about the gross negligence called the housing mortgage crisis?

How about the gross negligence called turning a surplus into a never ending deficit?

When do we see the prosecutions for this REAL negligence where real harm has occurred?

I didn't know the FBI was on a witch hunt. Or did you forget who is doing the criminal investigation?

Floundering. Write a letter to the FBI giving your amazing legal defense - I'm sure they will be impressed.

You brought them up, Max. And you've made it clear that if they don't find Hillary guilty of every crime you imagine she's guilty of, then they're pussies. If they pin an actual incidence of criminal wrongdoing to her, they're heroes.

They're not on a witch hunt. You are.

You persecute a witch, but you prosecute a criminal.

I'm all for prosecution.

Thanks for proving you're nothing but a partisan political hack that doesn't give a shit about REAL negligence where REAL harm has occurred.

You only care about worthless cries of negligence where there isn't a shred of evidence any REAL harm has occurred.

For those of us who lived through one worthless politically motivated witch hunt after another during the Clinton presidency it is unnerving to see how little has changed in the Grand Old Party without any ideas.
