So these are for songs that you enjoy not just listening to, but also singing with and/or dancing with, either publicly or privately (if you do not want anyone watching while you do it).

What will you admit to?

I do not dance along to songs much at all, and cannot think of any off the top of my head that I feel compelled to do whenever I hear it. As for sing-along songs though, my favorite would probably be Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game." Awesome song, awesome sound.

How about you?

Or we can also include songs that you may not sing or dance with, but just enjoy listening to when nobody else is around and knows you are listening to it, and that you normally would not admit to enjoying.

I MUST Samba to Perhaps. Fortunately, I only ever hear it as the title track to Coupling and there are no witnesses. I am toast if I ever hear it played in public.

All of the Rumours album, and anything Joan Armatrading ever did. Tracey Chapman, to some extent, Cyndi Lauper, Suzie Quattro, Jo Jo Zep.

Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen.

I'm not ashamed of liking any of these artists but hearing them can make me perform movements that an overweight 57yo should not inflict on others.

Boy, if this wasn't the wrong time for this thread.

There is one song, above all others, I think because it's in my key. At least I think it is and if you have just the right amount of alcohol in you, you will too.
Now then, if you can hold your drink without spilling it, allow me to sing the panties right off your ass...

Oooh, got me wondering now too. Do you have a link? I would like to listen.

Another one of my faves would be John Denver's "Annie's Song." Such an amazing song.

This version is more a Chacha rhythm, and a bit slow at that, but still I've been dancing in the kitchen. :)

It all depends on my mood.

I will sing along to just about anything in the car while I am driving - and yes, people can see me. I started doing this during some long drives in outback Queensland as there is very little else to do when doing 110km on a straight stretch of road roughly 500km long. :P

I like to have music on when I am doing housework, but won't do any dancing.

Drifters, "Under the Boardwalk" for happy
Van Morrison, "Sad Eyes" for melancholy

I just found another one.

But the version I just heard, at the end of an old recording of RockWiz, by artists I don't know, was better.

I just googled around a bit and came across this bit. Is that the version you are referencing?

In the OP I also referenced Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" and linked to the official video. I just came across this other slightly different version (sounds like the CD track) and it is such a beautiful sound too. Once you know the song and some of the lyrics, I do think it is humanly impossible to not sing along with it.
