Fuck CBS. They bow to trump

Aren't you going to miss all those great remakes with gender and race swapped characters? She-Hulk FTW!
I've heard of She-Hulk before. And it's a total so-what to me, comic characters are inherently flexible to the situation, do what you will. Such things only bother me when they do characters that do not fit.

The irony is that She Hulk was created so that CBS couldn't gender swap The Incredible Hulk and cut Marvel out of the picture the same way ABC fucked over The Six Million Dollar Man with Bionic Woman.

So yeah, creating She Hulk was a cynical attempt of a corporation protecting their IP.

It seemed to me that She-Hulk had all the earmarks of a Kathleen Kennedy production, so I just went with it. Eh...you win some, you lose some:

I wonder if She-Hulk is/was-made-into a lesbian though?

I did not make any such claim, so you are wrong.
You made this claim:
Youtube does not earn any money in Russia.
Having said that, YT can not directly sell my data to any interested party because they have no business in Russia.
Does 'directly' make any difference? Does being in Russia make any difference? I think not.

I can't imagine that'd last long. Advertising is going to want money back. It isn't like Sinclair can afford to lose any more revenue.
Well, Faux does pretty well living on right-wing advertizers.
What if people boycott all Sinclair's ABC stations.
Few people know who owns their local station. I only found out from Jon Stewart's show about Sinclair. It didn't list stations. But there was a 3 second clip of our local anchor quoting the company line.
Are you of the impression that She-Hulk is a recent invention of Disney+?
I loved the comic. It was fun. Sometimes a spoof, sometimes breaking the forth wall.
I missed the show as I can't afford Disney+.

I get the D+/Hulu bundle free with my Kroger Boost membership. I costs me fifty bucks a year but I've saved way more than that in benefits.

One more time. Google can not sell my data to any russian company. And western companies as you yourself said have no interest in that data themselves. For all intents and purposes Russia is financially isolated from the west.

Okay, so if CBS has someone on that says killing a disarmed civilian is wrong, they need someone to say that the killing was justified.

She-Hulk has been around in comics since 1979. She-Hulk was never a replacement to Hulk, but an addition, like a side. It's like claiming that the Bride of Frankenstein is a remake of Frankenstein or we should get rid of Pebbles because we should only watch Fred Flintstone.

You don't say!

Are you sure about that?

It sounds crazy!

This is news to me! I'll have to check into it. Thanks!

You're right. It really is true! How could I have missed this!

I'm not certain why you felt the need to imply you really aren't good at reading.

Why did you give me a link to this post and who cares if a fictional character is a lesbian? 10% of the population is gay or lesbian. There should be representation in television/comics/books. Unless, you're MAGA, then I guess everything should stay in the closet like in the 50s.

I linked that one for my one line comment at the top which is part of the conversation regarding my misunderstanding of She-Hulk's origin and why I thought she was a recent Hollywood invention. Southpark brilliantly parodied Disney's continuing, lazy, money-losing practice of remaking established characters by swapping out their race, gender or sexual orientation, instead of focusing on developing new, interesting characters and stories. To answer my own silly, rhetorical question, though, apparently She-Hulk is not gay, but her best friend Nikki Ramos is. So, not surprisingly, I was in the ballpark of a valid, educated guess. For the record, I think its fine to have movie characters of any race, gender or sexual orientation. I just think they go overboard and are a little too obsessive about it, to the exclusion of good storytelling. We've seen the same thing happening in recent Star Trek and Star Wars productions and others.

The question I have is why did you feel the need to educate me about She-Hulk's origins when three Comic Book Guy archetypes in this thread already lectured me on that months ago? Just piling on, or as a wise man once said, "you felt the need to imply you really aren't good at reading"?

No, I only saw your comment in its last form responded to--not reading 10 pages. Yeah, so, your "educated guess" is not an educated guess at all. If 10% of the population is gay or lesbian, then nearly 100% of the population has a close associate who is gay or lesbian. Pointing out that someone you were wrong about has a close associate who is gay or lesbian and going, "see I was right!" is extremely superficial and non-thinking. So far as South Park, they are sometimes spot-on and sometimes not and moreover they are in it to make money as they are a business. So they are not going to take very unpopular opinions and they will often go with memes. In this case, much of the gender stuff is a meme and much of it is untrue. Take you, for example, you're going to swear by it and then when proven wrong, you'll just find some other thing you think is an example. It's confirmation bias at its finest. Now, you could also get your panties in a wad over Stranger Things. I haven't watched the last season but I've seen conservative crybabies complaining that one of the 5 or 6 kids or whatever turned out to be gay in the last season. What will the children think!!!??? I don't know what children are watching Stranger Things but again statistically speaking, you would expect people to come out as gay at a certain rate and it's all valid mathematically. Even if there is a small overrepresentation statistically or such is trending, who actually gives a fuck. They are all people. Trends change and so does the market their businesses are responding to. Whether you choose to latch onto hate, stupid memes, and otherism points of view is up to you.

Jeezus christ who watches this show and why? And why would the FCC even care about it?
The answer to your question about why the FCC would even care about it is in the item you quoted.
a genre of TV that has long drawn President Trump's ire.
The FCC is another one of Trump's minions like the DoJ and FBI.

Can you imagine a no-holds-barred encounter between a competent interviewer and Vance or some other MAGAt? The MAGAt would soon be reduced to a driveling whinge, and would walk off the set, tail between its legs.
