Hardly one. Most photos of street scenes in Gaza show normally looking people (mostly men), and occasionally you see people that are, as you say, pudgy. Even pro-Palestinian propaganda outlets like Al Jazeera can't get around showing photos like this, and they have a vested interest in showing the effects of the alleged famine.

It is more the case that the few overly publicized cases of emaciated children (a cold snap in Santa Monica, using your simile) do not demonstrate a famine, esp. when they have preexisting medical conditions.

While the female graph follows the population pyramid, and thus appears to reflect largely random "collateral damage" deaths, the male graph has a marked bulge for teenagers and military age adults.
