That guy also goes by the name Dick Cheney sometimes.
Not advocating him auctioning the gun or anything, but do you understand that there is a huge difference between shooting somebody during a confrontation (even if you, unlike the court, do not accept that it was self defense) and lynching?Anyway, I'm not advocating fake bids or anything, but I really don't know what he thought would happen with his little lynching memento auction.
Mumbles is most likely clear on the difference. The disagreement would be as to what Zimmerman's and Martin's actions were, not the fan fiction out there.

Yam he's a douche but what's worse is that there are people who'll pay money for that thing.
Even if it weren't, even if the shooting was black and white self-defense, the guy is selling a gun and advertising that it was a gun he used to kill a person. That is beyond disturbing. But shooting Trayvon was NOT racially motivated. riiiiigggght.
A top bidder used the screen name “Racist McShootface.”
Sounds legit.
Last one I saw was a $65 million bid from Donald Trump, which...also sounds legit.

Just agreeing with Zimmerman should be an alarm tripwire. I know, a stopped clock used to be right twice a day, but in this digital age, a stopped clock is just blank. But [Zimmerman] is absolutely right on #BLM. That's a racist (just look at their hostility at suggestion that all lives matter) group
Zimmerman is just great. Where most of us would make every effort to be inconspicuous following acquittal for murder, he sees it as a publicity opportunity. There's his paintings. The tweet of his marksmanship. Another arrest. And now this. (Sure I forget something.) That wacky guy.
Is he?Mumbles is most likely clear on the difference.
Even if pro-Trayvon fan fiction that he "didn't do anything wrong, not a thing" is correct, it still would not be a lynching. The disagreement would be as to what Zimmerman's and Martin's actions were, not the fan fiction out there.
That still does not make it a lynching.Unfortunately, Zimmerman didn't allow the Martin to have the same judicial rights as he was afforded after the shooting.
There are many technically digital clocks/watches that still have analog-style display and thus exhibit the same behavior.Just agreeing with Zimmerman should be an alarm tripwire. I know, a stopped clock used to be right twice a day, but in this digital age, a stopped clock is just blank.
I find it amazing how little it takes to label white people "racist" and how much it takes to do the same for blacks. When #BLM always takes the side of a black thug over police, when they attack white students, etc. how can anybody describe their behavior as anything but racist?hostility need not be racism. They may just be angry that people are either misunderstanding or ignoring their actual concern, or understanding it and either mocking it or watering it down. Either way, there are ways to interpret 'I don't want to change just to suit you' without it needing to be racism on their part.
Who the fuck said it was? You dig up an article that no one here has commented on either way; an article from 1991 when quite a few of our members where toddlers if they were born at all, and try to play "gotcha"? PatheticBy the way, why was auctioning Jack Ruby's gun he used to kill Oswald acceptable, but auctioning Z's gun isn't? I mean, the former was used in a crime while the latter wasn't.
Gun Ruby used to kill Oswald brings $220,000 at auction
Just murder, in a state with reasonable laws on self defense. Is he?

How much did Jack Ruby get for that gun when he personally auctioned it off for financially gain? -- thirty years after his deathWho the fuck said it was? Something doesn't have to be illegal in order to be crass, tasteless, repugnant, no class, and just flat out awful. How much did Jack Ruby get for that gun when he personally auctioned it off for financially gain?
He was dead so he didn't personally gain anything. But it was a gun used in a murder (rather than self-defense justified homicide) and the auction house did not pull the listing because of controversy.
On the other hand, Z was found not guilty and is not even subject to "Son of Sam" laws.
It is all that. He should still be allowed to do it.Something doesn't have to be illegal in order to be crass, tasteless, repugnant, no class, and just flat out awful.
Good ole Derec, always defending the defenseless. But who is going to defend the auction companies that don't want the publicity of someone trying to sell a snuff weapon on their site?It is all that. He should still be allowed to do it.Something doesn't have to be illegal in order to be crass, tasteless, repugnant, no class, and just flat out awful.
