Google, “Lake America”

I'll give the name change all the concern it deserves.

It served Trump's purpose.

Divert attention away from election issues. It is his stock and trade,

I think he should rename places inside the U.S. and see how that goes. Starting with the sanctuary cities that he rages over. Melaniapolis, anyone?

Trump was petty in renaming the lase as if it would actually affect Canada.

Google responding with pettiness serves no purpose.

Pettiness is the act of focusing on trivial, minor, or insignificant matters. It often involves making a big deal out of small things to annoy, punish, or vindicate oneself against someone else.

It would be petty for Goggle to make a case out it.

Google is not part of the federal government. Its renaming of the lake is craven.
Google does have contracts with the federal government they want to maintain.
But is this EO remotely enforceable? I mean sure, Trump can cancel a contract with Google and give that contract to ano...

Well, I suppose the benefits of monopolies are that where else can a despot go? Amazon?

The press should just respond, "when are 120 ships a day going to be able to transit Hormuz like they did last year or any word on those Epstein files or despite the trillions in pledged investment, why is the economy producing an average of only about 20k jobs a month during your term"
