Hillary Can't Win

For some reason I think we're about to feel a wave of Hillary support around here.

For some reason I think we're about to feel a wave of Hillary support around here.

Why is that?

Because any minute the Republicans are going to fall lock step behind Trump?

Hillary represents one thing, a sane SC Justice, nothing else.

She might get my vote but never my support. I will support Bernie because I don't just support him I support his ideas.

Well, more "support" than support.

It's going to feel like Hillary love.

I predict some conversions along the lines of "you know I was really for Bernie, but watching Hillary debate Trump/new commercial/$250,000 speech she gave to my company I remember why I always thought she was so awesome".

Look, just because she's the greatest person to ever live and has the sun shining out of her ass and will bring on an everlasting utopia that's so awesome and incredible that even the greatest optimists can't dare to dream of it is no reason to assume that people are going to start praising her.

^^^ seconded (though I will also be appreciative of another glass ceiling shattered)

Just like the Obama love? How defending a President from the most ridiculous of attacks means being an Obama Buttboy. Now, when liberals have to "just go with it" with Hillary, we'll be called Hillary ButtBoys.

You misspelled "the only viable option".

One could always vote Libertarian Party.

One could - and I have in the long ago past. However, I am not one to put a lot of emphasis on voting unless there is a micro chance it would make a difference. California is, and will be forevermore, a blue state. There won't be any latinos in the shadows on this one - so Trump is toast here.

Nope, my contribution in my little postage stamp of the universe is that of Marvel comics offshoot of The Watchers...the Critics.

It may surprise you - no. The man is an embarrassment. I won't vote for any Presidential candidate. And on election night I will be rooting for both to lose, so I am sure to be 1/2 disappointed.

You should vote. He is more than an embarrassment, he is a danger. Would President Trump act on the advice of the smart people we hope he would surround himself with or would he act on instinct? He can have a profound affect on the world and only the US voter can stop him. Someone else must win.

Trump would be a serious danger if he had a coherent and deeply held set of views; but Trumpolini is a bloviating ignoramus who only holds the view that his spur of the moment droppings to adoring crowds is not a means to an end...it IS the END.

More likely Trump would be like Jessie Ventura - a man made passably sane by a bunch of advisers like Christie, and perhaps so bored (and unpopular) he won't run a second term.

Not if the Dems don't come out to vote. Young people are excited at the prospect of Bernie. But I know MANY who won't bother to vote at all if he doesn't get the nomination.
So even having Neocons openly support Hillary isn't enough for people to think twice about her.

Wow.

They said the same thing about Obama. Rush Limbaugh practically had an orgasm when Obama started rising in the polls.

There are always candidates that the opposing side thinks is going to be a disaster and so wants to see them put up.

I want Trump to get the GOP nomination. That says nothing other than I think it'll get the Democrats the White House again.

That's my biggest worry. Dems not bothering to vote if their chosen candidate doesn't get the nomination also affects everything down ticket as well.

Yup - your nephew & niece have pretty much said this. :( Of course not sure they are voting the primary either since they need absentee ballots.
