Given that one of the things that Marxism wanted to destroy was religious faith, how do we backstop against destroying the love of country, our own races and nuclear family and so on?

I would hope that most of us came to atheism through rational means and not because mommy and daddy sucked and were also religious. Coming the latter way leaves one more open to marxism.

This video at 5 minutes in explains it well:

The video lost a lot of credibility to me when it started with Pat Buchannan. It lost more credibility with me when it claimed that Marx "wanted to take over the world" and was an advocate of "authoritarian dictatorships." It went completely off the deep end when I realized that the central thesis of the video was that every "progressive" advance in the entire Western World after WWII was a result of a conspiracy of Marxists pulling strings from the background. Everything from the civil rights movement, to free love, to women's liberation, to liberal Hollywood movies, to Marlyn Manson apparently would never have happened except for a bunch of Marxists plotting to making it happen.

It's Conspiracy Theroy Central.

Anyway... To answer your question with some other questions:

What's so great about blind "love of Country?" Why is that worth preserving. Love is a form of respect and respect needs to be earned. An abusive father doesn't ACTUALLY deserve the love of his children. Similarly, and abusive or exploitative nation doesn't deserve the love of it's people. "Love of country" should never be enshrined as either traditional or sacrosanct. The respect given to a nation should always be measured against it's worth.

Similarly, What's so great about "our own races?" What does that even mean? I am an individual. Judge me on my own. We shouldn't condemn a white man because of Adolf Hitler and the Spanish Inquisition. Similarly, we shouldn't praise a white woman because of ... I don't know... William Shakespear and Gouda cheese.

Lastly, ... The Nuclear family??? Is there something wrong with living with a lot of extended family in the same home? Is there something wrong with kicking a lazy, potentially abusive, good for nothing man or woman out of a house despite the existence of kids there? What's so special about the Nuclear family that it needs to be protected? This one is bizarre.

Marx was against all religion.

Including the religion of the state.

The idea that duty to nation should come above duty to humanity in general.

One more thought. If you want a nuclear family go get yourself one. Trying to make everyone else conform to your personal preferences is ridiculous. Don't try to make me get a blue convertable sportscar just because you like them the best.

I'm curious to see if any right-wing atheists on TFT actually agree with the goals stated in this weird-as-fuck OP.

I for one grew up in the world of dysfunctional nuclear families and see the damage one person can cause when the others have no support or mechanisms for dealing with the individual.

I have always longed for a more extended community. And yes, there can be very exploitive, manipulative, and suicidal communities as sure as there are families.

Here is a video that explores such communities through monasticism.

And a good critique on the "Here in my Garage" Guy and his totally non materialistic Lamborghini!

Love of our own races?
That's a rational thing?

Seems too divisive, to me, and rather arbitrary.

I mean, sure, I can appreciate a good-looking white woman, and probably five of my all-time favorite, top ten Playmates would be considered white women, but I wouldn't put 'love of my own race' on a high priority for a rational evaluation of humanity.

So, hey, what's the rational basis for a love of your own race, Repoman? And how are you defining 'race?' I mean, ihave relatives who insist that Italians (the dagos or wops) are a different race than white people, while others include them, but draw the line at Jews.

Marxism is the study of making revolution. You can only prevent a study by setting up an Inquisition. What is it with reactionary weirdoes? You argue with opinions and, as with those who want to outargue Darwinism, say, you lose unless you understand what you are talking about. Scarcely any of these weirdoes have ever even read Marx, let alone tried out the necessary testing.

And what's with all this "decline of the West" bullshit?
Didn't you notice that world is worse today that it was 30 years ago? 1986 was the pinnacle of existence, except Red Sox fans. We need someone to return us to the wonderment that was the 80s.

In the 80s, we weren't losing jobs over seas. In the 80s, there was no terrorism. In the 80s, music wasn't controlled by the machine. In the 80s, cars weren't over regulated death traps. In the 80s, you could let your kids walk along on the streets without any fear of molestation, kidnapping, or Marxism.

I just watched the opening of the video. They are talking about "Cultural" Marxism a.k.a. "political correctness" because treating people with respect is somehow anti-Christian.

Urban Dictionary said:
A bullshit conspiracy theory developed by paranoid white folks to smear multi-culturalism. It borrows heavily from the plot lines of "The Manchurian Candidate" and states that crypto commies are going to turn us all into genderless, godless, family hating zombies. It's used as a way for white folks to whine like little bitches about how hard life is now that they dont run the world anymore and all the immigrants, gays, trannies, jews, blacks and others are making life miserable for them.

Sounds like standard fearful cultural myopia. It's that thing that Mike Huckabee wrote a whole book about even though he doesn't know what it means.

Agreed, so the answer to the OP is:
1) Can't fight it, might as well accept that we are already a multicultural nation.
2) Genocide on a scale not yet imagined.

Given this

, I suggest you ask the deep thinkers at Stormfront for their analysis.

I don't know why yet, but I get a weird feeling in my teeth when someone says "we atheists". Why does this happen? I think maybe I like to imagine atheists as less than people. Like maybe they miss something about life, or they are lacking something biologically. Something inside their brain. I don't like this feeling I get in my teeth, and I'd like to understand why I feel it. Maybe when I hear "we", I sense organization and eventual hypocrisy because things are always the same, given enough time. I sense that people are ultimately all same, and they just play with themselves by believing or disbelieving. In my understanding of the world and where it will end up, I don't see the point in crying.

Please explain what it means to be an atheist against Marxism. That video made me feel dirty and I couldn't watch it. I'm fully aware of the definitions, I just don't understand because of the teeth and the pain and whatnot. Seriously though.

Marxism seems to be a self-correcting pathology. The cure for Marxism is experiencing Marxism. I read recently that the Vietnamese have the most positive attitudes toward capitalism on earth.

What seems stubbornly incurable is the strain of intellectual armchair Marxism preached from armchairs of universities well-endowed by the fruits of capitalism. These people are like carriers, not affected by the disease themselves but capable of spreading it to others.

An atheist against Marxism is somebody who doesn't believe in any gods and who thinks that Marxism is a bad ideology. The only thing missing inside of our brains is that a random mutation caused us to be born without the part that causes people to believe in bullshit. So, it's not that we're less than human, it's that we're more than human, sort of a homo sapiens superior, if you will. For more information about this, read some of the works by Erik Lehnsherr.
