How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Dude, MiniHitler launched a thousand drones and and it resulted in 3-4 hits.
Do you realize what it means? success rate is 0.5%
Actually it is 0.1% because they hit only one target, the rest is just debris on random apartments.
What it means is all targets are not created equal. A low percentage means fuck all as long as they hit the intended target. As long as they hit the intended, it’s a 100% success.
You start shooting weapons, you have to figure some won't hit the target. Any weapon, any target. If the target is defended you estimate what the defenders can shoot down and throw enough extras to saturate the defenses. "Weapons" even exist that don't actually do anything--no seeker, no boom, just an airframe and propulsion. They're a lot lighter which means a plane can carry more of them and the defenders can't tell if they're real or not and have to allocate a SAM to them.
Ukraine has no functional defense against russian jet powered drones. Yes, we still use slow and low flying propeller drones for strikes but they are effectively decoys which keep busy remnants of ground based machine gun air-defense which really can never be fully suppressed.
We keep seeing the Russian propaganda trying to describe reality far different than what their own images show is happening.
Bull fucking shit! Your propaganda is lying to you. Ukraine is being destroyed exactly as independent media says
If there's any reasonable chance something might be propaganda do not pay much of any attention to the label. And look at it from a viewpoint that's hostile to the interests of whoever is presenting it. This is by no means perfect at rooting out the fakes but it catches a lot because it's a lot harder to make fakes that stand up to scrutiny and an imperfect job still fools those who want to be fooled.
I don't see you commenting on western scum finally blurting out on ukrainian losses which happend to be exactly what russian government had been saying.

One more time. Kiev regime launched ~1600 drones during Parlamentary elections.
Oil refinery caught fire and, apartment and a house near Moscow were hit.
1600 drones and flamingo missiles! All flamingos were shot down without any damage.
Drone costs EU $50K minimum. Let say it is $100K average. That's $160M for one strike which caused one successful hit.

How should Putin respond to the likelihood he can never overcome Ukraine?

That likelihood is vanishing fast.
Ukraine will (except maybe Galicia) be Russia again.
I personally disagree with independent western commentators that Galicia is inherently anti-russian.
There is a higher likelihood of Elensky relocated to Miami being assassinated by ukrainians who lost relatives in his war.
It's not far fetched, there have already been at least one such assasination of prominent nazis in Ukraine.

Another day Barbos, and more dead Russians. Does it make you feel good?

D o you know any families who have lost someone in the war? Do you wish you were young enough to enlist and go fight the Euro Nazis? Do you wish you were at the front killing Ukrainians?

Ukrainska Pravda reports that NaftoGas facility was completely destroyed.
Not "damaged", not "destroyed" - "completely destroyed"

At least five missiles struck technological facilities during the attack, which had already been shut down and out of operation for a long time.

The damage caused by the strike has effectively made it impossible to repair and operate the facility.

Are you claiming that Galicia (which is Spain) is part of Ukraine? That's weird. But of course, how in the world could Ukraine be anti-Russian? Other than the killing, raping, stealing of land, looting, constant threats, blackouts, and etc; what sane Ukranian would be anti Russian?

I wonder if barbos is tired of winning yet.
This kind of winning:
Ukraine Recaptured Almost All Territory Russia Gained in 2026, Zelensky Says
In brief: President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia captured approximately 890 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory in 2026, while Ukraine retook around 800 square kilometers on other parts of the front. According to his figures, Moscow achieved a net territorial advantage of only about 100 square kilometers despite suffering heavy losses.
Thousands of people killed each and every day for what?

I don't know about that. He can apparently afford to pour enough resources into it and it's clear he's willing to sacrifice as many Russian men as it takes to get the job done.

If Ukraine were allowed to invade and hold Russian ground, it might be different, but barring direct NATO intervention, it's difficult to see how Ukraine can survive an enemy that isn't beholden to world opinion or its own people.

He also knows how and is willing to push things just far enough to keep the possibility of nukes out of the picture.

Well, they’ve been holding their own for over 4 1/2 years. They’ve taken more territory this year than Russia has. They just need NATO support and NATO countries are willing to give it to them. Granted Russia hasn’t fully mobilized its resources to conquer Ukraine. But there are significant problems for Russia if it tried to do so. The last attempt at mobilizing 300,000 caused significant protests, and people fleeing the country. The economic impact is also a serious problem. It would be tough, but that’s probably what it would take. The problem is the casualties would be horrific for Russia regardless. And whether he can control it for the long term is seriously problematic.

I have said before, keeping control of Ukraine long term will be near impossible.
Every babushka will have a gun.
