How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

You know what's real? Being broke, bankrot.

So says United24, quoting the Washington Post:
-Russian politicians are proposing hoovering up bank accounts, to "mobilize" this money to help fill Russia's war time funding gap.
-People don't like that. People are trying to withdraw their money and leave the country before the freeze kicks in.
-This money is needed to help repair infrastructure. I can't imagine Russia planned for this in their 2026 budget.
-During this, Putin admitted to the gasoline shortage, 25% production shortage as per the WP.
-Putin also admitted Crimea only has a few days of fuel supply left. But he's gonna get fuel there somehow, someway.

And another thing, as I mentioned pages ago, remaining refineries are running at full capacity without down time for maintenance. So what is operational, what Ukraine cannot reach will break down. Have no access to spare parts as they are mostly western systems and have no money to pay for repairs.

Different news sources have been saying Russia is broke right from the start, and used a variety of metrics to prove it. So I'm skeptical.

Either way they surely didn't plan for this in their budget.

Ukraine needs to find a way to hit the large refinery at Omsk, about 3,000 km as the crow flies. I don't know if Flamingos can quite get there.

Are you uncorking champagne you corked back in 2022 Great Counteroffensive which took Crimea?

Reality check, communist (!!!) party in Duma (Parliament) threw that on the wall. The rest of the parties laughed it off.
"Communists" do that shit all the time knowing that nobody is going to vote for it, so their own money are safe. This is all cheap theater in order to score some points in the incoming elections.

I think it's just a matter of time. Ukraine is now world leading in drone warfare. Couldn't possibly be more supported in this by the NATO countries.

Drone warfare isn't about ability (we can shoot rockets to any distance). It's not even about speed. It's simply a question of production capacity and a cheap, optimised, manufacuring line. Just the kind of thing EU's countries are world leading experts in. and overwhelming your enemys ability to shoot them down. Russia is such a big country, they're totally fucked to prevent this.

Mighty US is running away from ME.

I don't pay any attention to this POS traitor. That he is allowed to post these while others in Russia have their internet cut is all you need to know that he is Russia backed propaganda.

And Barbos too.

Yes indeed. They are losing massively, and are being humiliated by Iran, who are more powerful than ever.

The interesting thing here, in the actual context of this actual thread, is that everyone here knows it.

Which rather demolishes your idea that our information is purely US propaganda. Why are they telling the truth about this embarassment, but not telling the truth about the situation in Russia and Ukraine, where the US doesn't look too awful no matter who is winning?

That everyone knows about the US humiliation in the Gulf gives the lie to your claims that it is us who are fed bullshit.

We get to hear about disasters for US, and disasters for Russia.

You only get to hear about disasters for US.

Someone is getting lied to - but this shows that it ain't us, it's you.

No, it's pure propaganda garbage. But Kiev Regime is winning propaganda war. There is no doubt about that. You are the evidence of that.

To be fair, Iran has the advantage that it has very little to lose in going hard against West.
Russia, on the other hand, still have a lot to lose. Our economic ties to the West are still extensive.
lots of old oligarchs would like to go back to old times regardless of the cost to Russia.
Putin has to balance that. The rest of the government look at the Iran and say, we should do the same.
Putin says, "Well, US did not attack us directly as they did with Iran....."
He does not even escalate in Ukraine itself, again, afraid of destabilization of the economy. He probably looks at the western scum and see that they want him to escalate in order to cause problems with the economy, hence I should not do that.

LOL, OK McCarthy, looks like you have no counter-argument.

What does Iran have to do with Ukraine?

Iran won a war with US and will help us to defeat US in Ukraine.

Maybe that's why Russia is being bled dry in Ukraine. They think they are fighting the US, while it's Ukraine that is kicking their ass.

You got it completely backward. Russia kicked Ukraine's ass in February 2022. We are fighting collective West in Ukraine now.

Long term alcohol abuse will affect memory, to it's no surprise to see you don't remember Russia failed to meet all military objectives in western Ukraine. That doesn't count as kicking any ass. As they say in my neighborhood, you don't win the bet on the halftime score. It's not important. You aren't posting anything you actually believe, just what you've been instructed to say.

I keep reading articles about how clever Russia is with their social media campaign to influence opinions in the west, but after reading your posts for several years, I don't see it. It is funny to see how easily you pivot from "Russia is going to win", to "Russia is losing because Ukraine had help from the west." When the "Madman Putin" orders come down, are you going to keep this account, or reappear as a "good" Russian who never wanted war.
