I haven't watched many of her campaign speeches, but came across this one on the trending video list. She comes off as unlikable, completely lacking in charisma, in this speech. I can see why there are so many people who have a negative opinion of her. I can't believe this is the best the democrats could come up with:

I say this as I dread a Trump presidency. This seems like the easiest guy to beat, unless you pick one of the most hated candidates the Democrats could muster to run in opposition.

If I were a US voter I wouldn't vote for her anyway. However she must have some kind of pull as she won the nomination and has tended to be shown in most polls as the most popular/least popular of the 2 main candidates. However rather in agreement with Nigel Farage, I wouldn't vote for her if she paid me.

Polls of course have a margin of error. There are other candidates but similar to the UK voters often vote for one just to stop the other from winning.

Now there are polls in contradiction of each other. Some say Trump is leading and others say Clinton is. It could mean the voting is too close.
 
Ok, she is not really that likeable. So what do they do? They pick a speech where she is extra not likeable and spread that around to make it viral.

What can Hillary do? Not speech at all? It's a battle she can't win. She's framed for over twenty long years. It's a done deal. Even if she may be the best president ever; her character has been killed. Period. Yet still she got a few decades of political stuff done, despite all the framing. I can only applaud that. Trump would have jumped off a cliff by now.
 
Yeah, she looks grumpy and slightly drunk in that video. Not too presidential.
I think she just wants to be president, she does not give a damn about any issues she raises in her campaign, these are just tools to get more people to vote for her.

Both camps are doing this. It's also bad reporting when the media can't produce anything in context but make up news to gain sales.
 
Likeability used to be over-rated. Nixon was extremely unlikeable but that did not stop him winning the POTUS.

So fair's fair. How many soundbites of the Orange Skidmark have you seen? Have you seen even one of his rally clips that convince you that you could stand him as a neighbor? as someone in the elevator with you? as someone you'd tolerate for more than 30 seconds at a party? Trump is nauseating. Every expression (especially that smug goddamn grin), every hand gesture, every utterance, every flip of the comb through his nasty weave. USA! USA!!!

I'm telling you, things will be better. The Democrats have failed the Inner City, now let me fix it... you buy the land for real cheap, build a hotel and make a fortune!

The way he talks is bothersome. Everything will be great, awesome, wonderful. Yes, politicians make promises that likely can't be fulfilled, but Trump is making promises that can't possibly be fulfilled. He talks like a used car salesman. I wouldn't buy a hot dog from this guy.
 
She looks less calm and engaging than usual. She takes a medicine that makes her woozy. That is what I think. That makes me sad for her. She seems different. I don't like it.

There is something wrong with Clinton lately. I notice that. I've been told the stress of campaigning is the cause. I was told that she is being poisoned. Another theory is that she is old and dying. She has a fatal old person disease, they say. If this is the case, they need to keep her alive long enough to become president. Please God make that happen.

The stuff they use to sterilize the pool goes into the vagina. I'm not sure about that either.
 
Seriously though, do you see Clinton as frail? As an American, I don't like frail.

Am I looking for things that aren't there because other people say things that aren't true? My own eyes tell me that she isn't looking right. I can also hear in her voice that something is wrong. I've liked her since Bill was the president. It makes me sad to see her in pain.

I find it odd how many guys think women have to be essentially better than men in order not to be called fat, ugly, or old. And FWIW, I am no fan of Clinton, I just find Trump politically repulsive. It doesn't matter that he is obese, has an ugly face, and looks weird with all his wacky gestures. I wouldn't vote for him if he looked like Mitt Romney or Marco Rubio, but was still the same asshole. With Clinton we will get a pretty standard Democratic neocon that will make sure that Wall Street is protected, much as the Repugs would like. What we won't get is a maniac.
 
No, Hillary is a good person. She is a politician but she is good. Every decision comes from a good place in her heart, which is compassionate and pure. My opinion.

If I had to choose between someone I thought would die next week, and another who would probably be impeached within two weeks, I'd go with the healthy person.

That depends on who the VP nominee is, and what the new president would be impeached for IMPOV. If it was John McCain, yeah I'd probably go for the impeachable one. If there actually was a real health concern about Hillary Clinton, I could live with her VP side kick as President over Trump. The US political system has handled the death of Presidents quite well over the decades, and the transition to the VP as president seems to go smoothly.
