If mass immigration is so great, then how about the countries that lose all their workforce to the wealthy nations?

Why do you guys hate capitalism so much?

Mainly because is anti-Islamic and gets in the way of our super secret plan to create a worldwide caliphate by using the immigration systems of Western countries as a weapon against those countries.

Is there an actual problem in Poland with a lack of plumbers to do plumbing work? I'm genuinely curious.

Yes there is, because then people have to freeze in the winter or live with blocked pipes etc...

The same concept applies with regular immigration. If Polish people hear that English toilets are all backed up because there aren't enough plumbers in the country, the first couple hundred Polish plumbers who show up are going to be greeted with hugs and kisses. The next hundred who show up are going to be told that their skills aren't useful and there's no work for them and they'd be better off going to deal with all the clogged up toilets in Portugal. It doesn't serve anyone, including them, to try and hang around in England.

Yet still they hang around, hordes of them, care to explain that

Why would a qualified plumber ever need to take a minimum wage job?

WTF
Because of mass immigration, have you not heard about this phenomenon - you know, where thousands of people are applying for the same job hence forcing the wage down -the whole point of this exercise

Because they're low skilled workers without better options elsewhere. They want to go "somewhere for a better job" but with no overarching framework to help them know exactly where that is, there may not be a decent match between where they go and where it would be best for them to go so they hang around in the place where they feel they have the best chance. This doesn't necessarily mean that they're correct in that assessment.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could be so dense as to not understand the question that was asked.

But, just in case, the above question from Archimedes should be read as "Is there an actual mass migration of plumbers from Poland?"

Also, why did Poland train so many damn plumbers in the first place if there wasn't work for them? Is Europe like the Hunger Games country where everyone from District 12 is a miner and everyone from District 11 cuts down trees?

Perhaps if Poland made an effort to diversify its workforce more, there wouldn't such a surplus of people looking for jobs in a single industry.

No, I don't mean what would be the outcome of a country having a lack of plumbers, I mean is there an actual lack of plumbers in Poland available to do plumbing work.

Has there been a recent problem with blocked pipes in the winter in Poland because the plumbers have left the country? I'm looking for something in the way of actual verifiable facts.

Perhaps there's a real problem in Poland at the moment because there is a shortage of qualified plumbers. Or perhaps you imagine there is a problem in Poland because you think there should be one because of an ideological objection to large scale emigration. I know that brain drain can be a real problem but I'm just wondering if in this case an actual problem has actually happened because of the emigration of plumbers from Poland.

Someone understands me. I don't know if Bar-Jesus is just being obtuse or if he's deliberately avoiding a simple question.

Plumbers and other types of work, for ex: many Poles work in sandwich shops - so who's gonna work in the sandwich shops of Poland?

Brain drain, there you go - giving weight to BJ's point! Fair play

You see a drain of semi-skilled is also bad - leaves Poland in a worse state, but hey, the neo-libs of 'democratic' EUSSR don't give a donkey's testicle about that do they

Mass immigration - the holy grail right?

So, what about the countries that lose all their workers (ie; Poland) - who's gonna do the work there?

And if they suck them from Bulgaria, who's gonna do the work there?

etc etc....

Has anyone actually stated that mass immigration is an overall good thing?

all the mainstream left parties for a start, and all the far left lib types - a lot of mainstream Cons are very pro mass immigration too - so YES

Links, or it didn't happen. Or maybe it's just a failure on your part to understand that "immigration" doesn't mean "mass immigration". Or maybe it's just a failure on your part to understand damn near anything.

OK, so there's a lot of Poles working in sandwich shops, seems legit, so I don't doubt it.

What I do doubt is that there is actually a mass migration from Poland happening now, and you seem to be dancing around whether or not you think the mass migration from Poland is an actual thing. It is time to put up, or shut up (or be ignored).

Is it your contention that a mass migration from Poland is currently occurring? If so, please provide your evidence.

Probably unemployed Polish people. Making a sandwich isn't actually a high-skilled job which requires more than a shift or two of training, so non-sandwich workers can be brought up to speed on it fairly quickly.
