• Welcome to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board.

If mass immigration is so great, then how about the countries that lose all their workforce to the wealthy nations?

Now, was that really so difficult that you had to be annoyed into providing evidence for?

Not difficult at all, and I had it all along - in fact a 5 second google search brings up a ton of evidence on this sort of thing - to most people, other than lib idealists, this is obvious

Congratulations!

After 8 pages you have finally managed to produce evidence that there is a shortage of plumbers in Poland. This could have been avoided by producing your evidence in the OP, or at any point in the intervening 7 pages. That is what is expected in this forum, and those who comport themselves in the manner you have done in this thread are only maestro's of douchebaggery. No one will be apologizing to you, and if anyone owes one, it is you.

yada yada yada:rolleyes:

Mr Self Righteous Keep's on Talking - to himself

I notice you did not take the time to address the rest of my post. I will take that as agreement with everything I said regarding the actual topic of discussion.

So, now we can address the question of who is going to do the work of the missing plumbers. Apparently, as your article suggests, the answer is Ukrainians.

And who will then do the work in Ukraine?

lso, to some degree, new Polish plumbers will need to be trained. In the mean time, if there is so much plumbing work to be done in Poland, wages for plumbers there should rise as wages for plumbers in Dublin and London level off due

Evidence, source required, or are you just making stuff up?

to the glut of immigrant plumbers from Poland, and perhaps some of the "folkloric" Polish plumbers will return home as a result. If not, well, too fucking bad..

Perhaps they will return home? Could you be any more vague please

And the last bit, hey sod the Poles , sure they'll love you for saying that, just like how they loved Stalin and Hitler

And who will then do the work in Ukraine?

Their new Russian overlords? Either that, or they will need to train new plumbers. In case you haven't noticed, Ukraine is experiencing a bit of a crisis, if the plumbers there can improve their situation by immigrating to Poland, then why keep them from immigrating?

I think you are confused about why one needs to offer evidence in support of a statement. If you are making a statement of fact that a problem exists, it is up to you to provide evidence of said problem. When offering possible solutions, there is not really any evidence that can be offered other than theory and historical data regarding what has historically occurred in similar situations in the past. Do you dispute that when faced with a shortage of semi-skilled workers one possible solution is to train more workers to fill in the gaps? Or, do you dispute that when there is a shortage of semi-skilled workers the wages rise for the remaining semi-skilled workers due to increased demand? Let me know which statement you have a problem with, and I will endeavor to provide you with the information you require.

Sure. Sometimes people who have left home because of unfavorable conditions return home when conditions improve.

Pretty much. If the Polish state let conditions get to the point where their plumbers are immigrating to the UK en masse, they are the ones who need to fix it, or they will keep spiraling the drain (see what I did there?).

sure they'll love you for saying that, just like how they loved Stalin and Hitler

I could give a shit what the Poles think of me, but I am not planning on invading their country any time soon, so I doubt they look on me quite that unfavorably.
