I wonder if anyone here has or knows someone who has lost or not gotten a job because of an immigrant.
 
Well if anything positive has come out of this tragedy it’s that leftists have acknowledged that white lives do matter and they know what a woman is. A step in the right direction I suppose.
 
What does it mean for society when demagoguery is weaponized against groups because of a state-sanctioned killing of a citizen? That kind of hateful trend does not bode well for the direction we are headed in. When people feel emboldened to replace rational argument with hateful tropes the moment these killings occur, it signals a very dangerous direction for society.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot a shovel-wielding assailant in the leg after he was 'ambushed' during ongoing ICE operations in Minneapolis. Officials have since confirmed the agent shot a Venezuelan illegal migrant who had tried to attack him as they conducted an arrest operation on Wednesday night.

Renee Good was an ordinary US citizen.

It would seem that LA County want to protect all residents, including those crazy citizens (many of them allegedly lesbians with blue hair) who think the Constitution of the United States should apply to interactions between federal agents and citizens.

Your opposition to the Constitution of the United States is noted; I wonder why you choose to live in a country whose constitution you dislike so much.

I don't think that either of the criminals in that interaction are particularly worthy of respect, but as human beings, both are worthy of protection from each other.

Not sending the shooter to the vicinity of the shovel wielder would have protected them both.

Article is behind a paywall so I couldn't read it but reports I have seen said four of five "native Americans" had been temporarily detained. Hardly "rounded up".

The screaming woman who was filmed being pulled from her car by ICE agents in Minneapolis has been identified as a tech guru and LGBT and racial justice activist who describes herself as a “friendly neighborhood deniable asset.” Aliya Rahman, a software engineer with a lengthy background in coding, has backed policies for police-worn body cameras and also has prior ties to multiple advocacy groups, including a decade-long history with the Black Lives Matter movement. Rahman was thrown into the spotlight after viral footage showed federal agents breaking her car window and yanking her out on Tuesday after she apparently blocked ICE vehicles during a protest The driver was caught on camera shouting that she was “disabled” and claimed she “was just trying to get to the doctor” as multiple masked federal agents cuffed her and escorted her away in chaotic scenes.

A pro-ICE protester who bragged about the killing of Renee Good has been caught out lying about his background. During demonstrations in the city the day after Good was killed, Jayden Scott, 24, was filmed abusing anti-ICE protesters. 'All you liberal commie motherf*****s keep your hands to yourself or you are going to get hurt today alright. We executed one of you yesterday,' he shouted.

#BLM is an extremist anti-police organization that caused many riots over mostly justified shootings, such as the one of Michael Brown.
I am convinced that without their rioting Trump never would have been elected in 2016, especially since there was a large #BLM riot in Charlotte less than two months before the election. And yes, that shooting was also justified, and yes, the family and the activists lied about what had happened.

In any case, as far as Aliya Rahman, her involvement with #BLM and other so-called "social justice" causes shows that she wasn't just driving to a doctor appointment as she claimed. She was there deliberately to provoke ICE action.

First, ICE agent behavior shows ICE agents don’t need provocation to act like stormtroopers.

Second, all sorts of people go to doctor’s appointments. I don’t know whether she is telling the truth or not. But using involvement in #BLM as proof she is lying is inane.

Frankly, IMO, there is ample evidence from DHS statements to warrant extreme skepticism about anything they claim.

That you think the exercise of these rights entitles the State Security Police to imprison, assault, or murder citizens, and that you see such things as excusable, is truly bizarre.
