Ever since a dictator took over in Denmark, there has been less and less information coming out of the southern Scandinavian nation. Today, there is virtually nothing known about the happenings in the small nation. We receive more information about what is going on with the North Korean leader than we do with the Denmarkian leader.

Honestly, this scares me. What are they hiding?

Or, more to the point, does anybody really care what Denmark is hiding?

They have some sinister plot, they don't have some sinister plot - they're frigging Denmark, so what does it matter?

Are you seriously suggesting something is rotten in the state of Denmark?

Its not about Denmark. Its about Goldman Sachs.

Ms Thorning-Schmidt is known in Denmark for her stylish dress sense, leading some papers to dub her "Gucci Helle". Less helpful was an official investigation into her tax affairs last year, in which she acknowledged having made a mistake in declaring Mr Kinnock a non-resident. The couple were cleared of wrongdoing.

Her government was weakened in early 2014 when the small Socialist People's Party left the coalition amid disagreements over plans to sell off a stake in the state utilities giant Dong Energy to Goldman Sachs ....
:D (do you know why I'm grinnin' other than I'm related to a sixteenth century Danish queen (Dorothea Sax-Laurenburg) and Priscilla Alden....)

It was that sort of lull into complacency that allowed Canada to take over the world for a couple years during the drugged out 60s. People just don't remember it because of all the drug use.

Are you suggesting that they were too big to fail or implying that the invisible hand of the free market would have "taken care" of Dong?

It was time for the giant Dong to get off the government teat.

Denmark is the diet coke of evil. For true Evil, mind numbing, staggering, stupefying levels of evil, my money is on Luxembourg.

I think the facts about DONG the state energy company actually are a bit murky. It has an umbilical cord to Goldman-Sachs. It is "B" tier rated by all three of the rating agencies. On the surface it appears to be strongly invested in alternative energy but has links to the natural gas industry. The actually are quite opaque. Denmark is definitely one of the alternative energy leaders in the world, but they almost seem a caricature of a government complete with monarchs etc.

I think that if we are to determine how much of a threat Denmark is, we first need to determine the number of bears there are in Denmark.
