Judaism gave birth to two daughters: Christianity and Mohammedanism. The daughters were proud and ambitious; both were ambitious to marry some rich and powerful potentate. The proud and ambitious daughters were ashamed of their mother, for the mother was poor and had the poor Jews as her husband. That the mother might not be an obstacle to the realization of their ambitions, the daughters treated their mother most cruelly, forced her into retirement together with the Jews , and completely turned their back against their mother and the Jews. The daughters went even so far as to deny that Judaism and the Jews were their parents. Well, the daughters realized their ambitions, they married rich and powerful potentates, enjoyed pleasure and power and were greatly honored. The daughters realized their ambitions, but in one respect they were bitterly disappointed: they remained sterile, they gave birth to no children. These foolish daughters did not realize that in the mother was the tree of life. If the mother died, the daughters would at once die. Thus passed nearly two thousand years. The daughters grew old and gray , and they lost their former charms . At the same time the mother remained young, strong and beautiful as ever before. Recently she gave birth to a son. This was the Isaac born to Sarah. Isaac is to inherit the estate of the mother and the father. Now that the son was born, the mother must go back to the Holy Land, there to bring up the son. In Soviet Russia, in Nazi Germany, in Fascist Italy, and all other countries , the son will grow up to be a wild man. That he may be brought up to be a rational and moral man, he must be taken to the Holy Land. Who is this son? His name is Marxism. And thus, while the daughters never gave birth to children, the mother always young, strong and beautiful gave birth to Marxism. Marxism is to inherit the world. The daughters seeing the mother coming to her own, threatening t o eclipse the daughters, are determined to prevent the mother from coming back to her glory. Now if the daughters could agree and unite together, they could for a long time to come prevent the mother from coming back to her former glory. But the daughters always hated each other, and they cannot unite together. The hatred of the daughters for each other is far deeper than for their mother. Christianity cannot allow Mohammedanism to shut Judaism out of Palestine, for Christianity needs Judaism in Palestine for her own regeneration, and the regeneration of the Christian nations.
History now moves back to the East and the South, to conquer the backward parts of the earth and the backward races, nations and peoples for progress and civilization. The task is very great, and history can accomplish it only through and by means of states. A historic function through states is state capitalism, and state capitalism is the beginning of the realization of Marxism. Marxism therefore must now move towards the East and South. But Marxism is the son of Judaism and the Jews. Until Marxism has been brought up to be able to extend over the whole earth and embrace the whole human race, it must pass a number of years in the Holy Land under the care of Judaism and the Jews. For this reason, Judaism and the Jews must return to Palestine. When about five centuries ago the Turks conquered Constantinople, all communications between the West and the East and the South stopped. This was historically necessary, that the Western nations should go still further West and discover America. But now that America was already conquered for progress and civilization, the communications between the West and the East and the South must be resumed, and the ground must be prepared for universal cooperation among men. This can be accomplished only through the Jews. They, and they alone, can bring the nations of the world to an understanding and agreement; for this they have been prepared by history. Hence, history requires the return of the Jews to Palestine, and the return of Palestine to the Jews. In the impending struggle, the Christians will be compelled to side with the Jews. This is the reason why the mandatory power over Palestine was given to the English. And may the impending struggle be ever so bitter, and may the nations try their utmost to prevent the Jews from becoming the masters over Palestine, the Jews will become the masters over it for the good of the whole human race. Marxism will prepare the earth, and Judaism will prepare the nations for that universal cooperation which is the destiny of mankind. Upon this basis , the daughters will reconcile themselves with the mother, and the nations will reconcile themselves with the Jews. Behold, I will send you the prophet Elijah , before the coming of the great and terrible day of Jehovah; and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers (Malachi 3: 23).
