This isn't really anything new. Except maybe the gall.
The U.S. funds the Israeli military to the tune of billions of dollars per year, is despised by the people of the Middle East for it; and when the U.S. finally makes progress with Iran, thereby potentially ending the decades-long animosity, Israel is really pissed about it.
Granted, the Israel issue with the people of the ME is a gigantic red-herring for nations like Iran and Saudi Arabia. They can direct the ire of their people toward Israel whenever a serious two-minutes hate is needed.
Still, nearly any agreement reached with Iran is a step in the right direction for the U.S. and that region as a whole. And it freezes Israeli ass because should the U.S. and Iran ever actually become friendly, U.S. interests suddenly and undeniably weigh heavy in favor of Iran.
Sorry to be spotty here, but I'm in a hurry. Discuss or not.
