Johnson to be next PM

Calling Boris Johnson the next Trump seems a pretty lazy comparison. For one thing Johnson has spent most of his career fucking things up in the public sector. He gets along with his siblings. And unlike Trump, who can rely upon Republicans to consistently crawl up his rectum even after the fucking canary dies, Johnson is already shedding cabinet support. There is a sentiment that Johnson will be the shortest serving Prime minister, which I suspect will only increase considering his Leroy Jenkins approach to Brexit.

It's worth noting that U.S. Republicans treated Trump the same way before and just after his election.

British Lose Right to Claim That Americans Are Dumber

Luxuriating in the superiority of their intellect over Americans’ has long been a favorite pastime in Britain, surpassing in popularity such games as cricket, darts, and snooker.

“When our countrymen cast their votes yesterday, they didn’t realize they were destroying the most precious leisure activity this nation has ever known,” he said. “Wankers.”

Don't tell bilby.....

If the last 150 years didn't cause Britain to lose any sense of superiority they might have held over Americans I'm not sure why this would do it.

I dunno.
What's the minimum time he can be PM?
WE'RE stuck for four years, maybe eight what with the advantage of being incumbent in an election.
If you guys get buyer's remorse, what's the soonest you can get your money back?

He technically could not become PM still... I think. Otherwise, there is the "snap election" to show how much the United Kingston supports him and he can get booted that quickly.

Was that "unidentified" comment in jest?

Sorry, I failed to identify the speaker. I was listening to it on the radio, so it was not apparent who was speaking, and I don't listen to British politics enough to be able to tell who's who by voice. I honestly assumed it was Farage, given how demented it sounded. Also, frankly I imagined Boris to have a deeper voice. It is always so weird when big men have these high pitched, nervous voices. I guess it makes sense that they would include a clip of the man himself.

I generally prefer to read my news, so I sometimes am unfamiliar with the sounds of people's voices, and sometimes even their faces.
No worries. I looked up the "human heart" thing and was shocked it was Johnson, so I didn't know if you were jesting or just didn't know, could have gone either way. Regardless, this idiot appears to be the next PM. With any hope a technicality strikes or he goes for a snap election so we can end this Western World self-destruction.

There's no minimum - that's one advantage of not having a written constitution.

The appointment of (and removal of) Prime Ministers is in the gift of HM the Q, and she can in principle do what she wants, when she wants. However, by tradition, she agrees to do as parliament directs, and they in return agree not to have her beheaded.

In practice this means that he can be dumped by a vote of no confidence in the house - and as his party is only clinging to power by a thread, that could easily happen at any time. A half dozen Conservative Party MPs have already suggested that they might quit the party, and that could easily tip the balance.

It's even possible (though unlikely) that the queen, on being asked by her outgoing PM to appoint him as her successor, could refuse on the grounds that he doesn't command the support of the commons. That would reduce his time in office to zero - but is almost certain not to happen.

The thing that amazes me is that the Conservatives have managed, at each step since Cameron first floated the idea of an advisory plebiscite on EU membership, to make a situation, that you would think couldn't possibly get any worse, significantly worse.

It's like a stress test for the propaganda machine - just how bad can the Tories get, before the voters will go against their indoctrination and pick Jeremy "trust us he'd be even worse" Corbyn? How far are the electorate going to trust the incessant media barrage of disinformation about what a disaster Corbyn would be, before they finally realise 'he cannot possibly be as bad as this shitshower'?

It appears that the British voter would rather see their nation destroyed than have a PM who disagrees with Rupert Murdoch et al. Such is the power of the handful of evil rich cunts who own the "news" business today.

Found a great spoof of bohemian rhapsody about this:

This is the real life
This is no fantasy
In by a landslide,
No escape from reality.

Open your eyes,
Take heed of my lies and see,
I'm such a rich boy, I have no empathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
Letterbox, dirty socks
Any way the mare blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Pater, just killed a man,
Threw him underneath my bus
Pulled my trigger, bless Liz Truss.
Pater, we have just begun,
And now I've won I’ll do it all my way.

Pater, ooh,
I was born to cheat and lie
It all belongs to me, our bright tomorrow,
Party on, party on, cos nothing really matters.

Crikey, our time has come,
Let’s send shivers down their spines,
Round the reds up, put in line.
Goodbye, House of Commons, you’ve got to go,
You can all kiss my behind and face the truth.

Pater, ooh (any way the wind blows),
The plebs have got to die,
They’ll soon be wishing they’d never been born at all.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Vladimir, Vladimir, won’t you keep it all secret?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.
(Strangling kittens) Strangling kittens,
(Strangling kittens) Strangling kittens,
Spaffing, quoting Cicero
Oh bally boll-oll-oll-ollocks.

I'm such a rich boy, no-one can touch me.
He's such a rich boy from a rich family,
Spare him his life from your “democracy”.

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Steve Bannon! No, we will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Lord Farage! We will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Ian Hislop! We will print all we know. (Let me go!)
Will not let you go. (Let me go!)
Never let you go (Never, never, never, never let me go)
Oh oh oh oh
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh, lawks-a-mercy, cripes and gosh (piffle paffle, let me go.)
That Michael Gove has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me.

So you think you can back me then spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me then hang me to dry?
Oh, Donny, can't do this to me, Donny,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.

(Ooooh, ooh yeah, ooh yeah)

Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters, but me.

Any way the wind blows.

Boris at least has a sense of humor.

Top Gear said:
Jeremy: Most politicians, as far as I can work out, are pretty incompetent, and then have a veneer of competence. You do seem to do it the other way around.
Boris: You can't rule out the possibility that beneath the elaborately constructed veneer of blithering idiot there lurks a blithering idiot.

But can anybody really imagine Sourpuss Corbyn ever doing a lap in a "reasonably priced car"?

P.S.: Did you know Boris was born in New York? I wonder if Comrade Jezza will tell him to go where he came from. :)

Oh Boris.

Unlike the girly men playing American Handegg, Boris is doing head-first tackles with no helmet.

A long video about the "Irresistible Rise" of Boris Johnson.

I guessed that he was part Russian because of the name and blonde hair, but I never would have guessed he has Turkish ancestry too.

Those teeth though (~1:40).

Holy Beatles puns, Batman!

Btw, I am so glad that "see pages" for BoJo skipped page 3. Nobody wants to see that. :)

I don't think they show titties on page three any more. Could be wrong though, it's been years since I've read that particular rag.

And holy goddamn, at least we have a Trump (Princess Ivanka) to welcome Boris to the leadership of the United KINGSTON. Christ on a cracker.
