Probably in a simulation
edit: the title is incorrect - it is only about line-based 2D graphical symbols...

Hi I was wondering if anyone has heard of this before.... (not from me)

I think just about any line-based 2D graphical symbol can have the "line number" determined...

e.g.

The following symbols involve the following numbers based on how many lines are involved:

3, 4, 2, 1...

Perhaps a 0 could be represented using a dot (0 lines) - the problem with that is that any number of dots would still be a 0.

The infinity symbol is a 1, a cross is a 2 (duality) but I'm not sure about the yin-yang symbol (depends if the inner "S" is joined to the outer circle). The pentagram is 5 and David's star is 6. On a related note, I was told that a 5 pointed star is a feminine star while the 6 pointed star is masculine.

This "heartagram" is a 3.

I plan on eventually making a website about this.

This video I'm using happened to have a guy with a plain triangle symbol on his arm.... what are the odds!?

In addition to the Circle, Cross, Triangle, Square, Star (1 2 3 4 5 lines) I've made the "5 line number energies":

I think they're way better that the 4 elements...

.....Perhaps a 0 could be represented using a dot (0 lines) - the problem with that is that any number of dots would still be a 0......

Well it looks like Arabic-Indic numerals originally had a dot for zero:

Also the Arabic-Indic 1, 2, 3 have 1, 2 and 3 lines...

Recently I watched the new Ghostbusters movie and in the credits it showed words on skyscrapers - including "X O" (kiss and hug). Then I realised that Circle and Cross is Hugs and Kisses - also Noughts and Crosses...
https://linenum.com/
Then at the start of the original Ghostbusters movie I saw the Zener cards:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zener_cards
They are:
yellow circle: 1 line
red cross/plus: 2 lines
blue wavy lines: 3 lines
black square: 4 lines
and a green star: 10 lines..... unless it is a non-open star.... then it would have 5 lines.
Note that I didn't rearrange any of those sequences including noughts/crosses, hugs/kisses, and the 5 shapes in Zener cards...
Also I was thinking that the ghostbusters symbol involved a red 2 line element (the circle and line) and a white "spirit" energy part (the ghost) Yes that is a bit of a stretch but thought it was interesting.

I came across this (which has been copied/recreated many times)

and I tried to come up with my own ideas. So the LineNum shapes circle, cross, triangle, and square correspond to O, X, A, and O.... so I used a scrabble tool like this:
https://wordfinder.yourdictionary.com/unscramble/oxao___

SOAPBOX is a match... same with AXOLOTL and OXYMORA

anyway the relevant matches included:
MAX COOL, MAX FOOL, MAX NOOB, 100% MAX and MATRIX NOOB....

So this involves a gamer who is new to the game of life...

This is the only other example I've seen where the circle, cross, triangle, square symbols are used to make words:

game-over.png

They used some of the symbols multiple times.... but they didn't use X so they just added at the end. (though it kind of makes sense based on the meaning of "X")

Their E's are a bit problematic.

Anyway it gave me the idea of using the triangle as a V...

So I did an anagram search for:

OXVO??

https://wordfinder.yourdictionary.com/unscramble/oxvo__/

I found VOXPOP

or:
VOX
POP

noun INFORMAL BRITISH
noun: voxpop
popular opinion as represented by informal comments from members of the public, especially when broadcast or published.
"paragraphs of vox pop"

edit:

Oops there's already "vox pop games"
I guess it might make sense as a T-shirt...

"LineNum" has a featured snippet on Google now, which is pretty cool. If it was up to me I would have used different text though it shows that LineNum shapes have ancient origins...

I got impossible versions of the first 4 shapes made... the cross is original and took a few versions to look ok....

I've got it saying "200% MAX" because it is impossible...

There are three main occupations in "Squid Game"

Two workers and a manager:

The "masculine triangle" is also known as the blade so it suits soldiers. The "feminine triangle" (upside-down) is known as the chalice.....

Here's my site about these symbols/shapes:

Using all 5 of the LineNum shapes....
My Christian sister was against the pentagram so I made it bulge but then she said it didn't really look like an "A".....

Sonic the hedgehog also has yellow circles like in the previous post....

In the second video he pushed his glasses up revealing another tattoo.... it was a cross.... so I know of two of his tattoos and both are linenum related....
